Jeff Howe to OTF?

My 2 cents. Jeff would be a fantastic addition to OTF. His knowledge of Texas Football and other sports would be awesome.

All I know is regardless of where Jeff goes, 247 is rivaling OB for the absolute worst Texas site.

Jeff is a great guy and genuinely human fellow. The OTF lineup is the best as it is, but adding Jeff would put OTF even further out ahead of all the rest.

I kept my 24/7 subscription for years out of respect for Jeff. Finally cancelled when Chip leaked the Schloss news. Enough was enough.

Not a Chip fan.  He caused me to leave orangebloods.  I also left 24/7 and Scout because of him.  (I'm now back at OB, since he left)

@Bobby Burton I love the rockstar team you’ve assembled and infectious positive culture fostered at OTF with @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel @Blake Munroe @Rod Babers plus all the other regulars and guests each week.   I try to catch as much as possible each day on OTF as the other sites seem to be a distant second.   If Jeff H ends up joining OTF, that would be awesome and almost seems unfair to IT, OB and others as you keep taking OTF to the next level month after month.

Horns247 members are understandably disappointed by the news but classy in their appreciation for Jeff and all he’s contributed.    Thought it was great to see 247 members also show love on their board for @Bobby Burton and appreciation for what OTF has quickly become over the past 13 months.

I've been following on 247sports (not a member) for a while, I think since Tom Herman was hired, but mad an account in 2021. They've lost a lot of really good members over the years. The guys there now are really good still, but it's a noticeable drop in quality/talent, in such a short period of time.

If Jeff wanted to be on OTF, he'd be a welcome addition to the team and even the live streams.

I left 247Sports last spring for other reasons.  I miss a few of the posters there.  I miss Jeff.  I always made a point to go say hello when I went to a basketball game, and not just because he comped me a lifetime subscription when I announced a few years back that I was leaving due to lack of basketball coverage.  I guess he felt I was worth it then because of my very detailed threads on conference recruiting and bubble watch and conference basketball action.

I have a hard time spending that much time researching and writing now that I have to take care of my 93 year old dad, his house, and his pecan orchard, but with my near retirement from my legal practice, maybe I'll find the time again.  I have a feeling we'll win a few more games this year and be curious about the bubble.  We might wind up on the wrong side of it, but I doubt we will be out of the discussion come March 1.

Have always liked Jeff Howe... Him with Rod on the Blitz was a staple of mine before OTF had their videos/podcasts.

Jeff would be a great addition. I had been thinking for a while of switching to OTF, but that sealed the deal and here I am.
