Lot of good and bad. Expected first game. But yeah I don't know if we can pound the rock still. Will know way more Saturday against a top notch team. Arch better for sure, but those throws in coverage will get you killed in a tight game. And expected growing pains with the new defense. But still that pass coverage has to improve this week. All in all just happy no injuries , outside of Cooper.

Saw this today as LSU and Kiffin and others were hit with federal summonses . It says they have 21 days to reply. So any thought that the Federal Court would rule quickly seems unlikely. Sure LSU will take the full 3 weeks ha! But who knows what the hell Courts will do. Just saw that article and hadn't heard much about it.

One would assume the SEC expected this to play out this way. So we will see if they have been playing chess , while LSU plays checkers. And when can they start penalizing LSU is my next question. Seems the Judge says they can't, but who knows. If they have to wait on the Bama ruling , or go full speed ahead. No way the SEC can back down now, it's on!

Beautiful because that gives the SEC a great argument in the Federal case of harm it seems. Need the Bama court to get off the snide and block this tomorrow😂. I know one can wish .

Wow biggest shock of a decision ever haha. Game of roster chicken has begun 😂 Will be interesting if LSU carries through , then has to explain to players why they are vacating, or forfeiting games. down the line if the Feds overrule. And their HC is gone half the year. The question never was are they eligible to me, but does the Conference have the right to enforce their rules. They can play, but LSU gotta pay the penalty price if they do.

Yes he will rule in favor of the athletes tonight. Then up to LSU to put them on the roster. I have no doubt if the SEC wins out in court, they still hammer LSU. But again with courts one never knows. If the Judge truly loves LSU , he can save them by reversing course. The game of chicken when the rosters are due will be fascinating tomorrow.

Well as bad as some legislation is needed , he won't get that either with his bill. The House is basically done til after Nov as announced today. The Senate may not even take back up the Bill , since the House won't. And no guarantee they have the votes either. So he will stay mad . Maybe a new better version will come. But for now Cody loses again. Love it! -
We all know this judge up for reelection is not gonna change his order . The question then becomes does LSU really wanna take that risk , with the pending federal lawsuit etc. And possibly have to forfeit or vacate games they play in and win . On top of suspensions and $ etc.And the CFP committee saying no to teams that do this. Normally one would think no way, not worth it. But it is LSU so they may win the battle momentarily. But gonna lose the war big time , and may never recover .

Somewhat related in all this mess. The Speaker of the House said they will adjourn Sept 17 until after the election. Have cancelled all votes however until then . Evidently don't want to have to vote on certain things and leave it at that. Don't wanna get political. Unless that changes, no way PSA Act gets done . Even if Senate passes it. Doubt the Senate even takes it up again now considering that move.So more of the Courts merry-go-round for awhile longer. So will see what's next from the judges and Courts ha!

So assuming this judge rules in favor of players today, and I assume that . Comes down to LSU really wanting to defy and possibly get all the wrath of the SEC. Hell of a risk to take for all their players, who may end up playing for nothing this year. Surely there is one adult in the room that says nah , not worth it. Same situation as Tech in a lot of ways. Hell I love it though. The penalties will be awesome to watch.

The judge did rule earlier today that only 7 athletes of the 44 have standing in regards to this lawsuit. So a win for SEC there ha! Sankey is there and on the stand as well it seems.

Figured SEC would go Federal with a lawsuit. Northern Alabama District against LSU, Kiffin , President , AD etc. Here we go!!

Even if LSU gets court relief now, it is a hell of a gamble to play them. Risk vs Reward over 2 players really? They are gambling another Court won't overturn all this eventually. But if so your players will get the rug pulled out by the SEC and the penalties they can impose . Not only on the coach, players , and the University. Then have read the CFP Committee may make teams that play these NFL guys ineligible for the playoffs etc. If that were to ever happen, I truly hope Texas and Hutson deal is definitely okay and worth it. Sneaky suspicion that LSU may back down no matter the ruling tomorrow. But that makes too much sense .

I mean CDC did a good job pushing her aside , yet keeping the peace. But the article states she will still have some role. So not gone yet. Let's see what the role is haha. Just not a fan , but acknowledge her tenure of course. But it's been past time imo.
