Bevo92
Unbelievably impressive win for Washington at Detroit with dominating offense all game, ~500 yds offense, 300 in the air, 3 of 4 on 4th downs and 5 defensive takeaways. Commanders kept foot pressed all the way down on the pedal when they were up by 10pts in the fourth quarter. DQ didn’t settle for field goal on 4th down in 4th qtr. Killer mindset. Jayden Daniels is special. It all starts with having a great coach (Dan Quinn was excellent hire), clutch QB (JD doesn’t look like a rookie)…….Commanders look strong in virtually all facets of their offense and defense. One of the best NFL playoff games I recall seeing in a while. I hope the Horns get this mindset next season. Total confidence in QB. Get more aggressive in 2nd half even when the Horns have lead…..#AllGasNoBrakes! Btw, as a lifelong Cowboy fan, this is painful as Washington looks even more dangerous than Philly. Looks like to Cowboys drought will continue for another decade. At least we have the Horns!! any other thoughts on tonight’s game? Hook em!!! LonghornLegends
My thoughts is that it’s crazy LSU could not get it done with Daniel’s. Dude is a stud.

Dude is a stud. Agree somewhat. LSU completely got it done on Daniel’s side of the ball. They had the #1 Ranked Offense in 2023. Could not do much better. Hard to believe LSU was the #108 Ranked Defense. That’s crazy, especially given all the talent they had on both sides of the ball in 2023. That’s one of many things I love about the Horns is the balance of strength on both sides. hook em!! ArizonaLonghorn
Washington got a new franchise nickname, a new owner, new coach and the right quarterback and suddenly it's a brave new world. For a franchise that's been down for so long it's great to see them doing well for a change. They were impressive against the Lions and figure to give the Eagles/Lambs winner a good game for the right to play in the Super Bowl. Detroit - gotta feel bad for those fans, who thought this was their year to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time ever after winning 15 games and earning the # 1 seed. Just too many injuries, especially on defense, and they couldn't stop anybody by season's end. Gamblers who took the Chiefs, giving 9.5 points! This is why I learned the hard way to not bet on sports (years ago). With an eleven point lead the Chiefs stop the Texans one last time and just need to run out the last 15 or so seconds to win 23-12. Instead of risking a punt they take the deliberate safety, and unexpectedly the Texans cover the spread 23-14. I'll bet that drove thousands of people crazy. NFL - no wonder it's the most popular sport on television. Edited Sunday at 05:20 AM by ArizonaLonghorn

Yeah no like I meant having a star like that with such a bad defense bad for him like a waste of talent!

Thought it was funny during the Chiefs game when Joe Buck and Troy Aikman made a reference to the betting line and certain people having a reaction after KC took the intentional safety. I’m not a gambler but can imagine that would be maddening.
