GoHorns1 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Michael Huff is currently Assistant Director of Player Development, don’t be surprised he gets promoted to Director of Player Development to replace Kevin Washington now at Baylor. No source or insider knowledge just a thought. 3 Quote
syracusehorn Posted February 7 Posted February 7 He's had plenty of opportunities to be a coach. I don't think that's what he wants to do. If he likes this type of role better (Development), then that's probably best for him and for the players. Recruiting and coaching full time is a hell of a commitment. 2 Quote

Sounds like the difference between a gratifying post retirement pursuit and working for a living. 1 Quote

Being a full blown safeties coach puts him on the road recruiting A LOT and takes him away from his family for much of the year. Not sure if that is what he wants. I think the OP is probably correct IMO 1 Quote
