    They've given up 20 points mostly due to field position, turnovers, and bad offensive playcalling. They aren't expected to shut out Ohio State. It was only 13 points until Sark Sarked himself.

    The defense has been about as good as it can be, given that the offense completely pooped the bed. Sark and his players just aren't up to this level. Too many mistakes and not enough playmaking.

    Is Oregon really as bad as they've looked? Two games and only a handful of positive moments. A lot of craptastic ones though.

    Yeah I noticed that phrase, which is an NCAA thing, not a conference thing AFAIK. Very curious to include that. I can't confirm from any reliable source that LSU is on probation. The articles I saw showed a June 2026 end date from a 2023 penalty.

    End of game or end of half scenarios. It rewards the defense for forcing a punt late in the half. It will be important for punters to understand the situation and not allow a fair catch on a late half/game punt. It will need to be out of bounds or otherwise not fieldable. In some situations, depending on the margin, it would be better to take a safety than attempt a punt.

    Someone is going to have to stay in for pass protection when the LG gets smoked. That's a role that MT could potentially take if he's got the willingness.

    I flew down to Austin from Chicago to watch Vince's first practice. I hadn't been in my new job very long and my boss gave me all kinds of crap about it. Worth it.

    Wisner was/is a good player. Solid #2 RB. But he's not really a lead back for a team in the hunt for a title. He has patience and pretty good vision, but he's not particularly strong and let's face it, he's very slow for a D1 RB. He just can't make the plays with his legs that he sees with his eyes. I hope he has a good year at FSU. I can see him as a good coach someday because he has the mental part of the game and the feel for it.

    Going to the main rival is never going to endure himself to his former teammates, coaches, and fans. I probably would have cheered for him if he'd gone to Michigan or Ole Miss. But a Sooner? Nah.

    Bad callas happen. No complaints about Balogun. But politicians (especially a World Cup host) asking for fifa to intervene is about as corrupt as it gets in sports.

    We are definitely going to be the villains now. Shocking, especially with the US President asking them to change it. Reminiscent of Longhorns throwing trash on the field to get a call reversed!
