  1. 1. What do you think is the most impressive of these all-time records? I'm sure I missed a few. If you got another one to mention-post below. I was just looking around and saw an article about it. So, I was wondering what the board would think was the best one.

    • Britt Hager's 195 tackles in 1988
      3
    • Kiki DeAyala's 22.5 sacks in 1982
      22
    • Colt McCoy's 76.7 completion percentage in 2008
      6
    • D'Onta Foreman's 13-straight 100-yard rushing games in 2015-16
      0
    • Ricky Williams' two straight games with 300 rushing yards in 1998
      8

Not sure any of those records will be broken, but I'd guess D'Onta & colts would have the highest likelihood.

I actually had never heard of Kiki, but can't imagine someone recording 23 sacks in a college season. Nor can I see anyone posting 195+ tackles. Even in a 17 game season, that's 11.5 tackles per game... But he did it in 11 games - almost 18 tackles per game - Crazy!

If you put it into perspective, the 22.5 sacks in 1982 when teams weren't throwing it nearly as much as today is crazy.  Way less opportunities should equal less sacks.  Hager's total tackles in 1988 is impressive no doubt, but teams were running the ball a lot.  That's what makes DeAyala's sack total really impressive.

That was my freshman year at UT.    Kiki coached my son in youth football in the year 2000. Good guy
