I've never been like this before... I've always been there through thick and thin to sing The Eyes at the end of every game of every sport. But this year I've tuned out of a couple of games before halftime and then I just didn't watch at all. Maybe it's because Texas has been playing well in the other sports and our outlook is optimistic outside of men's basketball. I even joked with a Longhorn friend that I would take Rick Barnes back on The Forty... and then Tennessee lost a key game near the end of their season just before the tournament. Felt familiar for Ole' Rick. Best wishes for CDC because managing this is gonna be a challenge. I missed the Mississippi State game to go to dinner with friends. Never done that before. I went to watch the boys state finals yesterday, because I thought this would happen. Quote
harveycmd Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago To be more specific: Johnson is Moss; Chigurh is the NBA; RT is Ed Tom Bell; Longhorn homer is Carla Jean. Quote

Neil Leininger Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Johnson is going pro, but he shouldn't. He's no where near ready, but he also didn't get much development from this Texas staff. They never cared that his defense was horrible with an obvious lack of effort, nor did they care about all the horrible shots he would take. 0fer in your last home game, which also likely sealed your post-season fate is certainly one way to go out. Assistant Regional Manager Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago One of my favorite Texas basketball traditions is when we try to say a guy who is a first round needs to come back to school. Happens with every one and done we’ve ever had. I’m sure there were people back in the day who said KD needed a sophomore season to “work on his strength!” or something stupid. 1 1 Quote

Devastation is truth, but it's not an NBA career. Quote
