Robert Gilbert Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I realize that Mike Fisher is both loved and hated by fans of the Cowboys. He does make some good points. Quinn has the arm talent, has played thru adversity and injuries, he has overcome being benched, and having unreal expectations heaped upon him. Whether or not the Cowboys draft him, I do not know but I would love to see it. 4 1 Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 17 Moderators Posted March 17 It wouldn't be a bad fit by any means. Dak is under contract through 2028 season, but there is an opt-out before then. No more Cooper Rush in Dallas and I think we all can write off the Trey Lance experiment that has yet to yield any real results. 1 Quote
Forrest J. Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I wouldn’t mind seeing it either, but as a life long Cowboys and Longhorns fan, I don’t want to use anything higher than the 3rd round pick to draft Quinn. He’s the ultimate boom or bust player IMO. Quote
.45s Posted March 17 Posted March 17 As a long time Cowboys fan I hope they do something good to get a backup and potential starter, but I would hate to see them draft Quinn and then ruin him. Quinn has a chance of being a pro quarterback, perhaps long term, but may need to be in the right place. If he gets to be a backup for a couple of years and has a good qb coach, those chance go up.
