It's first and second with one out for UGA with Branch up to bat.

Harrison opens the fifth by hitting Zaborowski with a pitch. That's three innings in a row in which the UGA leadoff man has reached base.

A No. 2 who throws in the mid-90s, came into the weekend leading them in strikeouts and has held opponents to a batting average of .125. The bats have struggled, but there's a reason Georgia is a top-three team and why Wes Johnson is considered one of the best pitching coaches in the country.

Does that change anything I said?  He was a reliever who moved into the rotation and has two pitches.  The ABs should get bette the second time through.

It adds context. Curley isn't a run-of-the-mill No. 2. The top tier of the SEC is stacked with quality arms, and that includes Georgia. Texas needs to put together better at-bats, but I'll give Curley some credit.

Jaquae Stewart's first home run as a Longhorn is a two-run shot to right field off Curley. The ball jumped off the bat and over the wall. It's a 4-2 game with no outs in the bottom of the fifth.

Farmer squares one up and drives it into left field for a base hit. Texas suddenly has the tying run at the plate with no outs in the bottom of the fifth.
