Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 A great play by Schuessler to dig out a hard-hit ground ball by Henry. He nails Obee on a play home for the first out of the inning. It's first and second with one out for UGA with Branch up to bat. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 Harrison is closing in on 60 pitches. Quote

pinkman_90 Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 (edited) You’d think the second time through we’d have much better ABs. This guy is a 2 pitch pitcher. Edited April 5, 2025 by pinkman_90 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 Harrison opens the fifth by hitting Zaborowski with a pitch. That's three innings in a row in which the UGA leadoff man has reached base. Quote

This guy is a 2 pitch pitcher. A No. 2 who throws in the mid-90s, came into the weekend leading them in strikeouts and has held opponents to a batting average of .125. The bats have struggled, but there's a reason Georgia is a top-three team and why Wes Johnson is considered one of the best pitching coaches in the country. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 Obee puts a charge into one, but it dies short of the monster in center field. Gasparino makes the catch to end the inning. Quote

He was a reliever who moved into the rotation and has two pitches. The ABs should get bette the second time through. Quote

The top tier of the SEC is stacked with quality arms, and that includes Georgia. Texas needs to put together better at-bats, but I'll give Curley some credit. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 BOOM! STEWART WITH A LASER TO RIGHT! 1 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 Jaquae Stewart's first home run as a Longhorn is a two-run shot to right field off Curley. The ball jumped off the bat and over the wall. It's a 4-2 game with no outs in the bottom of the fifth. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 5, 2025 Author Moderators Posted April 5, 2025 Farmer squares one up and drives it into left field for a base hit. Texas suddenly has the tying run at the plate with no outs in the bottom of the fifth. Quote
