Preface: some of these takes crapping on Quinn and Sark and the shouldacouldawouldas is just trashy. Quinn was great for us. Sark has been great for us.

Furthermore- Quinn did things the right way. He could have taken a multimillion dollar deal somewhere, even Texas Tech, but he wanted to finish his career as a Longhorn. If you truly support this program, support Quinn better because he is a great Longhorn.

that being said, I think the two most important criteria  to consider for NFL QB prospects:

- Gotta either be mobile or have good pocket presence

- Gotta have at least a halfway reliable deep ball

Unfortunately, these are Quinn’s two Achilles’ heels, and the other QBs being selected above him satisfy these two criteria better.

At this point, who's the most disappointed? Cam or Quinn?

Both are looking like bad choices to go pro. The question is which of the two is more likely to string enough NFL contracts together to not miss the potential NIL they could have had in 2025.

Who is trashing Sark? I always thought "what if Arch was our starter in 2024?" would go down as a great Texas football what-if, but I understand why Sark did what he did.

I think Sark did really well with Quinn, he just is what he is is which is above average college QB, career backup NFL QB.

Arch is obviously much more talented but he lacked experience.

Eagles are so good at grabbing the "elite potential but slipped because of xyz" guys...

Yep. As opposed to the Cowboys reaching or drafting players dressed in red flags.

Bond slipping this far makes me feel like his off the field stuff is pretty bad. We knew he had attitude issues, but that legal case must be pretty bad.

Best possible landing spot for Cam. If anyone can get him to reach his potential, it’s that OL coach.

No doubt. Jeff Stoutland is a stud.

Stoutland took Jordan Mailata out of New Zealand as a rugby player & made him a top 5 tackle. If Cam gets healthy & puts in the work he could be a top 5 RT in the league & be given some time to develop behind Lane Johnson. Perfect spot. And even if he doesn’t stick at tackle for some reason, they can always pull a Mekhi Becton with him too. Love this for Cam

That's always the case. Hopefully they're both able to get at least 2 contracts. Chase Daniel hung around the league carrying a clipboard and wearing a visor for a good dozen years.

A post above claims it was a failure by Sark to stick with Quinn. I don’t see it that way at all

Being a backup QB in the NFL is a great job. Life changing money without the physical abuse of a starter.

Colt made almost $30M! Not bad at all.
