• WR: 4
• TE: 2
• OL: 4
• DL: 4
• EDGE: 1
• LB: 1
• CB: 2
• S: 1

Back to back years of setting the school record for Draft picks in a given year. Plus, what I am expecting to be a preseason No. 1 ranking and a freshman class that ranked No. 1 in the country last recruiting cycle.

The program is in a very healthy place.

Fingers crossed that Sark can get them over the finish line at least once in the next two seasons with Arch.  A conference title and/or Heisman would be cool too but Sark said he came to Austin to win national championships.  Right now he’s in the Kirby pre-2021/Dabo pre-2015 phase of his tenure at Texas.  He’s doing the things you need to do to make that happen so props to him for that.

I agree and so does Sark. The portal additions and the way the off season has gone so far is on track with that. No stones unturned, all in! All gas no brakes. Something a little different about this team already.

Good analogy - sometimes you have to hammer on the door a few times to finally smash through but if you're on the doorstep often enough with a battering ram your time should come.  Both those coaches won twice, which should be encouraging to Texas (and probably programs like Oregon).

I'm old enough to remember when "Clemsoning" was a pejorative adjective/verb/noun for getting close and then choking - right up until they won Dabo's first championship.  We are well positioned now with our coaches and players, just need a few breaks with health and big plays at the right time.

Sarks down field route concepts need work especially against 3 high safety…need deep field speed as well, two years ago better with worthy and AD, last year nothing defenses had to worry about

A rough guess at potential picks, Trey Moore, Taaffe, McDonald, Guilbeau, DJ, Deondre Moore, Hill, Muhammad, Brevard, Arch?, Wiesner, Burke, Hutson
