Jaxon Willits drives one back up the middle into center field. Gambill goes from first to third on the single, putting runners at the corners with two outs for OU.

Jason Walk grounds out to third on the 20th and final pitch of the inning by Bing. Unfortunately, the free pass (HBP) comes back to bite Texas, allowing OU to grab the lead after one.

That's a massive key. Around the zone gets hitters to chase. No where close doesn't

Did Johnson succeed Skip Holliday as pitching coach at Texas? I can't remember the succession of pitching coaches for Augie - Frank Anderson, Skip Holliday, Skip Johnson?

Willis goes down on strikes to end the inning. Bing kills the two-out rally by OU, getting the game to third with Texas facing a one-run deficit.

Guys finally allowed to swing at first pitches and they can’t resist the opportunity. Hopefully second time through they find the right balance with the aggression
