Texas batters just need to stay back and foul off the fastballs. No one can hit an off speed ball when they are out in front and off balance.

Once again, the free pass comes back to bite Texas. Willis got hit by a pitch, stole second, advanced to third on a groundout by Gambill and scored just now on a double by Carmichael. It's a 3-1 lead for OU.

Their offensive approach has gotten worse as the season has progressed, it seems like every at bat is worse than the last one. They have gotten in the habit of making average to mediocre pitchers look like future Cy Young winners.
