Summer conditioning kicks off tomorrow morning for the 2025 Texas Longhorns.

The start of summer conditioning also brings the remaining new faces to campus for move-in and acclimation to the team. That list includes the Coleman brothers and Nick Townsend out of the high school ranks, and the portal additions of QB Matthew Caldwell, WR Emmett Mosley V, TE Jack Endries, DL Maraad Watson, DL Lavon Johnson and K Will Shipley.

While conditioning has been top of mind for the team, additional workouts have already included several new faces.

OTF has learned TE Jack Endries joined the legion of pass catchers on campus for a throwing session organized by QB Arch Manning Sunday morning. The initial reactions were that Endries was very polished in his route tree and a guy who brought a team-first mentality.

Positive sign for the tight end room.

Many possibilities if this team truly comes together with all the additions.  I feel there is sometimes a transfer or so that through the season ends up not on the same page as the rest of the team.  The more family the better for all.  Hook’em!

It's such a lean roster. Depth everywhere. We just need competent play at a few spots with new starters and we'll be fine. For instance we don't need any of the new DTs to be All-Americans, or Mosley, or Neto, etc. Just don't be an obvious downgrade from who we lost.

And a healthy Cedric Baxter would be nice too.
