Looking back at it, a huge amount of attrition overall. Jaydon Blue was really the only skill athlete difference maker. Guilbeau will be a 2 year starter and contributer. It's pretty slim outside of them. Our 23 and 24 classes are really the bulk of the team this year and will ultimately decide our ceiling. The one position group that is the exception is the OL class.

Kelvin Banks - 3 year starter and R1 draft pick. Outland and Lombardi winner.

Cole Hutson - 2 year starter. At Guard his freshman year and now Center this upcoming year. Frequent contributer.

Cam Williams - 1 year starter, draft pick. Never got to see his collegiate ceiling.

Neto Umeozulu - Projected starter at guard this year after developing. Has proven he can put a Sooner on his @ss.

Malik Agbo - One year contributer in 6 man OL package as a glorified inline TE. Sark running more true 12 personnel in 24 killed that package. Passed by others and transferred out.

Connor Robertson - developing. Has only seen meaningful snaps in the 23 RRSO after injury to Majors. Projected backup at Center this year. Can he hold off Daniel Cruz?

DJ Campbell - 2 year starter at Guard at multi year contributer.

That's an absurd hit rate for OL. Can't really qualify anyone as a bust, as they have all meaningfully contributed at some point or are set to for 2025. 5 starters overall, 3 of which multiple years. 2 draft picks and counting. Big year for Neto and DJ to really show what they've got.

Now compare our class to the # 1 2022 A&M class, the GOAT class - eight 5* recruits, I think 5 of them DL or EDGE.

ONE guy stuck it out and was drafted from A&M (Stewart). Their other 2 draft picks were a transfer from Purdue and a 4th year guy.  Some of the 2022 guys who transferred out did get drafted (Nolen the most obvious), but we had 3x more guys drafted out of that class than they did.

Look at their attrition rate, pretty astounding.

A&M's 2022 class might be a topic of a 30 for 30 one day.
