Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 3 hours ago Moderators Posted 3 hours ago The Mavericks and the Spurs are making picks that could change the course of their franchises. The Rockets are making headlines by trading for Kevin Durant. Tre Johnson will go in the lottery. It should be a special night for professional basketball in the state of Texas. The draft starts at 7 p.m. on ABC and ESPN. FIRST ROUND PICKS TO FOLLOW 1. MAVERICKS 2. SPURS 10. ROCKETS (will be sent to the Suns in the Durant trade) 14. SPURS 2 Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 3 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 3 hours ago Shades of Ray Allen, maybe, but I think Tre's ceiling is Michael Redd (before he wrecked his knees, obviously). Quote

The Pistons took Isaiah Stewart with that second first-rounder. 1 Quote

Good looking out, ElCafetero! 2 Quote

I respect him for not only bowing up to LeBron, but actively trying to throw hands with the face of the league. Every good team needs one of those guys who doesn't mind throwing down. 1 Quote

MarkInAustin Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Some talk at the Spurs SBN blog [Pounding the Rock] that Harper would be redundant, because he is much like Castle and Fox. To me, Indy's run featured depth, especially at Guard and Wing, that says Castle, Fox, and Harper would be a feature, not a glitch. San Antonio at 14 could take a BIG if they can get someone who spaces the floor well or who alternatively is a banger underneath, since Wemby can play in space. 1 Quote
