When Jared Spencer went down, Texas lost the element of knowing they had a guy who could toe the rubber every Friday and give them a chance to win the game. It feels different when a team has a stud they trust in the Friday role, which is something the two SEC teams that made it to Omaha had.

One thing I've learned this year. They really think they're God's gift to baseball
