McCoy2Shipley Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago He definitely wasn’t the ideal QB, but always enjoyed watching the Swoopes package. Notre Dame TD to win was fun as hell to witness in person 4 Quote
cochamps Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Super Bill Bradley 18. Exceptional NFL career as a S for Philadelphia. SWC record holder for interceptions in a game vs aTm (4 on Turkey day 1968). That game was my first in person Longhorn game, and the day I decided I was going to UT. Got to visit in the locker room (different world back then) which was a thrill for a 15 year old. 7 Quote
Thailand T Sip Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think I saw Bradley's last game at QB. A tie against Houston before Street stepped in to QB the Wishbone. He was one of the last two way guys that I recall. He was a phenomenal safety. As mentioned in s previous post, his Turkey Day performance in his last regular season game stonewalled the farmers. This was back when tailgating was cold fried chicken, celery stuffed with pimento cheese & home made tamales. Dad always seemed to have a couple of beers. Sorry for being long winded. Bradley epitomized what being a Longhorn was about. 🤘🏼 3 Quote
