Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted March 7 Moderators Share Posted March 7 Four-star DL locks in Texas official visit Lufkin (Texas) High 4-star defensive tackle Zion Williams has locked in an official visit to Texas. Williams, 6-4.5 and 325 pounds, will make an official visit to Texas June 21-23. That official visit will follow an unofficial visit to Texas April 20 for the Spring Game. The East Texas standout will make an unofficial visit this weekend to LSU. He's also expected to attend the Tigers spring game April 13. A June official visit is also expected. Williams also plans to visit Texas A&M this spring, and make a June official visit. His first official visit is also locked in. Williams will visit TCU May 3-5. I agree with this concern... not sure what NIL voodoo that they put on DK Moore to get him to commit so early.. but they have that capability. now they have momentum with the addition of Underwood, Berry, and the coach that produced our 2 star DTs. For sure. Bo has been recruiting high-end talents for year and years. IMO, Texas is about to get more serious about the NIL component and DL recruiting in the 2025 cycle. I respect Bo’s history but I don’t remember the last high ranked IDL he has recruited and landed while being back at Texas. In recent years so many people have questioned Bo’s recruiting ability and his inability to land high 4 or 5 Star IDL.
