Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 5 hours ago Moderators Posted 5 hours ago Texas beats SMU in “closed door” scrimmage No score to update as of yet. Texas had five players in double figures. Guards and wings played really well. Texas sat out both Matas and Lassina (minor), and still won. SMU’s entire guard rotation played, as well as top big. SMU was 24-10 last year. “Lots of good. Some bad. But good overall” 13 2 Quote

SMU PG is really good and they can score it at guard Reminder, Texas two centers didn’t play today … but there were rotational situations that they have to improve Sean Miller wants to set the offensive pace 2 Quote

DanielOnorato Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago A big positive sign was Chendall Weaver scoring 22 points. In a more open style game his defense and athleticism should wreak havoc for Coach Miller who has been extremely complimentary towards his game. Reminds me a bit of Tony Allen for Oklahoma State back in the day if he can continue to improve physical strength and maintain aggressiveness offensively. 1 Quote
