Posted this to Twitter, but I wanted to share here for more conversation.

Alabama

Opponents have only attempted 2 field goals against Alabama. The fewest of anyone in the country

They are 2-2.

 

Arkansas

The Hogs have converted 28 red zone trips into 25 touchdowns, the 2nd highest red zone TD conversion rate in the country. (83.3%)

Arkansas also leads the country in off. plays of 10+ and 20+ yards.

 

Auburn

Auburn has allowed the most sacks in the country this year with 27.0.

 

Florida

Florida is 
1 of 14 teams with 3 or fewer 20+ yard rushes
1 of 6 teams without a 30+ yard rush

All while Jadan Baugh is 4th in the country in missed tackles forced (40).

 

Georgia

 Georgia defense currently sits outside the top 30 in scoring defense for the first time since 2016.

They ranked 32nd at 19.6 PPG allowed.

 

Kentucky

Opponents have only fumbled 3 times when playing Kentucky, tied for 2nd fewest of any team in the country. 

Kentucky is 1 of 3 teams to have not recovered a fumble this season.

 

LSU

LSU opponents have committed 8.7 penalties per game, 4th most in the country. 

LSU opponents have averaged 72.6 yards in penalties per game, 5th most in the country.

 

Mississippi State

The MSST offense owns time of possession with 26:25 on average, that ranks 131st in the country.

 

Missouri

RB Ahmad Hardy has the most yards after contact (670) of anyone in the country, and the 2nd most missed tackles forced (55) of any RB in the country.

 

Oklahoma

Sooners D has 75.0 tackles for loss this season, that is 9.0 more than any other team in the country. Only team in the country to average 10+ TFL per game.

 

Ole Miss

Ole Miss has awarded opponents 19 first downs via penalty this season, the most in the SEC. 

It ranks t125th in the country.

 

South Carolina

The Gamecocks have lost 238 yards on 26 sacks this year. 

They’ve lost 42 yards more than anyone else in the country on sacks.

 

Tennessee

Tennessee is the only team in the country to average 40+ PPG and allow more than 25+ PPG. 

Vols are 2nd in off. PPG (44.1)
Vols are 110th in def. PPG (30.4)

 

Texas 

Texas has the 3rd best average starting field position in the country. 

They currently sit with the 80th overall scoring offense.

 

Texas A&M 

The Aggies’ OL has only allowed 19.0 tackles for loss this season, tied for the 3rd best mark in the entire country.

 

Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt averages the most points per drive of any team in the country.

Only 3 teams since 2020 have averaged 4.00+ points per drive. Vandy sits at 4.12 currently.

They had 2 trips inside the 10 against agsy that only turned into FGs. Convert those into TDs and Petrino gets his badly needed high profile win.
