Beating Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas A&M in the same season

Sark & Co. have an opportunity to complete this task again. Beating our three historic rivals is relatively unique in our storied history.

Darrell Royal accomplished this 8 times, Dana Bible 7 times, Fred Akers twice, and Mack Brown once.

This one today is about pride, history, and the state of Texas.

When researching, I was surprised to see he had four opportunities.

In those four seasons, he went 7-5 against them, with five of those wins coming the 2004 and 2008 seasons.

Oh, I had to think about this comment for a while to understand it. You switched your antecedents midway through the comment. He was 2-2 vs Arkansas in those 4 tries, but 7-5 cumulatively vs the three in those 4 seasons. The other 3 losses were to OU.

Yes, sorry for the confusion. I was trying to make the point that Mack got better through his tenure against our rivals.
