Texas 2025 Best Class Scenario: March 5 edition

The Texas Longhorns are in search of a fourth straight top 5 ranked recruiting class. And if the early returns headed into the spring mean anything, the odds are at least 50-50% Steve Sarkisian and staff pull it off.

To get your Friday going, here is the latest edition of the Texas Best Class Scenario for the 2025 cycle. There are 29 names currently on the list with a combination of 24-25 creating a near lock scenario for a fourth straight top 5 class. This list will shift and move once the March and April unofficial visitor returns are known.

This is the thread I didn’t know I needed, but desperately do. Every time a new class rolls around it’s hard to keep track of the new names. This is perfect.

So right now Texas is missing out on all top tier talent?  I only see 2 potential 5 stars committing and 1 of those is committed to LSU.

I remember when Mack Brown wouldn’t extend offers for the next class until the February signing day. It would always seem like everyone was going to LSU, until they didn’t.  Hopefully, we can pry Moore more away. His mother is the biggest UT fan ever.

Harris is a pass for me at WR. The state of Texas is loaded and those options alone are better in my opinion.

Also if we are going to look OOS I like the Jacksonville receiver and Mississippi receiver kid better.

My bad, Gerry said it was the Best Case scenario and I should have labeled it as such. I don't think Texas will have 29 HS recruits in the 2025 class.  23 or 24 is probably about right?

Yep. That's the starting # for me.

That stream would be mighty entertaining any time I get to the green. Turns into hockey from there.
