  1. VY was generational talent, and I'm guessing your assertion was that Mack gravy-trained VY's success and called it his own. Colt was a 2-3 star nobody that at one point, won more games than any other QB in college football. Does Mack deserve credit here?
  2. You people that still harbor some kind of grudge against Mack need to get a life. He left the program a mess, but he was solely responsible for getting us back to the promised land. And when he dominated, which was majority of his tenure, he was as dominant as anyone else. Even after being shown the door, Mack has continued to be an ambassador for Texas. We don't know if Mack really opened his mouth here. Frankly, for someone that's as media savvy as he is, it would surprise me to see him do that. This Belichick situation is a pure sht show. He should just sit back, get something good to drink, and enjoy in silence.
  3. There's definitely a racial, at least a sexualized undertone to this. Clark is a tremendous player, there's no doubt about that. But there's been plenty of talented players before Clark, and no one has been to win over the nation's attention like the Fevers have. My personal theory is that like it or not, the larger fan base (read: middle class dudes) just don't identify with most of the WNBA players. We don't respect their athletic prowess, and if they aren't at least averagely attractive, we're not paying attention. We don't care if we identify with male players, because we don't sexualize them, so it's not just a racial thing. It's also not an accident that Clark has a couple of very attractive teammates who happen to be white, that are active on social media, which is spurring the team and league's popularity. There's a popular narrative that we're just a racist nation. While that may be true, let's not overlook that we're also a bunch of sexist pigs.
  4. Oregon's was $503
  5. I thought our offer was $512 million, not $205??
  6. Aren't rookie salaries pretty much slotted based on draft position? Are the Bengals lowballing him or is he getting bad advice from his agent?
  7. Has Iamaleava family issue their side of the story yet? I'm curious if there's another version of the story of Tennessee failing to deliver what they promised.
  8. Banks is #11 here, but I’m also seeing a lot of projections of him late in first round, as a guard. I see his arm length and wingspan are both above average. What gives?
  9. Blue as a 7th rounder feels low. I don't know how good a pro he'll be, but he won the underwear Olympics by running the second fastest time among RBs. Since raw talent is pretty much what the NFL looks for, he should get picked higher than 7th round.
  10. The crowd is shockingly civil towards Mark
  11. Cool story on Heggs https://www.jacksonville.com/story/sports/2019/07/13/beating-odds-former-jackson-fccj-star-heggs-found-off-court-success/4699529007/
