  1. Genuinely, this kind of talk about a 20 year old kid who set records for this school, deserves this.
  2. https://atozsports.com/college-football/ohio-state-buckeyes-news/former-buckeye-transfer-omari-abor-osu-smu-admission/ Former Duncanville Edge Omari Abor hits the portal from SMU, regrets leaving Ohio St. (still hasn't played much at either)
  3. Decided to see if there were any late night portal entries, don't know if he's SEC level-has Tenn and Miss St offers, so possibly. But HOLY BEVO can he move, just wanted y'all to see this play. Drops back, hunts and demolishes the QB. D2 All American at West Liberty prior to Ohio. Former HS QB 😳kept that athleticism and speed at his size. High character outside of football, think that's a culture fit for Sark and UT. Wherever he goes, he'll be a wrecker. https://ohiobobcats.com/news/2024/8/21/football-fall-camp-cam-rices-community-impact.aspx
  4. Well, this is an interesting hire and interesting move for college football. An active NFL player working within college recruiting.
  5. Just heard Wisner getting popped trying to block on that Michigan play. I'd like to see a TE be a go-to as Gunnar was last season. Someone who can get those under the radar routes. If Shannon could be solid with his hands and physicality, a 6'7 target for Arch to get throws over top to would be nice. But I'll expect Jordan Washington to be the one with better body control based off last spring game. Will Randle now listed at 6'6 on the Texas roster vs 6'4 last season. Wish being Arch's high school TE would've carried over to this season. Thought maybe finding him or someone a spot as a red zone fullback type.
  6. I thought Karate Brenson was just cool based on the name alone, but sheesh..79 rec,1088 yds, 6 Tds last season. Assuming he'll follow Eddie George to Bowling Green though, unless Coach Jackson has interest and being at the top of the SEC is Brenson's. https://tsutigers.com/sports/football/roster/karate-brenson/5070 Sincere Brown at 6'5 has an offer from Michigan and multiple others including A&M https://gocamels.com/sports/football/roster/sincere-brown/10410 Cam Camper out of Boise State is a much older, more experienced receiver. But can they beat Livingstone is the question
  7. According to the TX FB Instagram, 120+ coaches and scouts https://www.instagram.com/share/_10FRjYN1
  8. Every time there's something so awful to read or hear about for Texas sports, I wish for a horns down emoji/reaction. OU? More like 🤮U
  9. Too many. Of the "big stars": Ricky, Vince, Colt, Simms.. Young Foswhitt Whittaker was so close in Carolina. Thought Collin Johnson was going to have a bounce back during his first preseason with Chicago . I had to look up names I saw at the 2011 Holiday Bowl. I lived in north San Diego county at the time post military and HAD to see my first Texas game, but what a crazy roster of talent I didn't realize at the time. Follow-up question: how many Texas players have been NFL teammates? Noticed Vaccaro and Okafor in New Orleans, Simms and VY in Tennessee.
  10. Was just about to say that. Could definitely see them trading up for Campbell or Banks
  11. Saw it earlier before this post and man..the WR list is difficult to narrow down. Does Coach Jackson and Sark go for a 3 or 4 receiver class? Keys, Dixon-Wyatt, Finley, Stewart? +/-Burroughs and Feaster? So many possibilities
  12. I read recovery news and thought it meant us recovering from the loss of Coach Choice. But Chris Gilbert was in my options I wrote, UT would get a great recruiter and coach from within the staff.
