    If Bo Barnes wasn't re-engaged with yesterday, it feels like Cade and Rasheem are both pretty important for this season. Those 2 + Tyanthony and Atkinson (and maybe Spence) would make up that room, which would still feel pretty slim.

    Texas did just beat previously undefeated and SEC leader Texas A&M in front of a national audience. If you get past the “hope for chaos” Saturday, that’s the best case for a jump you could have.

    @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby BurtonIs Simeon leaning our way and we're just giving Johnson this week to make a decision, or will we tell Simeon no without a firm commitment from JJ? Simeon seems like a high character kid, so I'd hate to miss out on a top 150 kid if we didn't need to, but it sounds like the staff thinks JJ is a game changer.

    @Gerry Hamiltondoing well can also mean not hitting a high enough NIL offer, correct? I would imagine Texas wants to find kids that will give them the discount for the success they're offering in the Draft and with culture. I can understand where that loses some early but wins later in the year.
