  1. I have been on all boards and Bobby was the reason I joined every single one of them. I am not really into site wars and generally like the different sites for different reasons. That said, I have kept all but OB, I cannot be a part of anything Ketch is a part of. I respect some of his business decisions and he obviously built something special for a time being but he ruined that and made the experience over there unbearable. So if he is involved, then I am out of whatever that is.
  2. While some of this is technically true, the way it is presented is not. Mack was deservedly hurt by the way it went down and did not like Patterson. His ire was directed at Patterson and Fuenves and not the program. His warnings were about the way Patterson was running things. Furthermore, he didn’t have to bash anything to the BMD’s you are referencing, they were plenty mouthy and unhappy on their own. Many of them saw the writing on the wall with Patterson before the world did. I know of several recruits personally he told to stay committed and they deserved to play at Texas and should see who they hired. He never bashed the program to a single person, player or recruit I know. If all of this was true his former players and those who worked with him and continued working for Texas wouldn’t adore him like they do. Especially the ones who played for him at the end of his run. He could have handled things better in some regards but to act like he began undermining and bashing the program to anyone who would listen is factually incorrect.
  3. Still hilarious to me that everyone blames Mack for “burning the program down” when Steve Patterson is the one who truly burnt the program and athletic department down. Mack did not go out right, all agree with that, but he went 8-5, 9-4 and 8-5 his last three years. Definitely not good, but still better than he found it after a legendary run. Considerably better than the next several years after he left. He also gets the blame for Nick Saban not coming, which he had a part, but Nick Saban was not coming here to work for Steve Patterson. Zero chance.
  4. Texas is basically a 9th place finish in the relay away from the Natty due to our current lead: We are very close to bringing home the trophy. Definitely no worse than 2nd right now but another championship is in sight!
  5. So he sends Peyton a text about the 2 minute drill and gets a 12:00 voicemail response...that is hilarious and perfectly on brand! 😆
  6. He will be a true junior this year and I think his next step will be elite. He has always had elite traits. There were ups and down with Barron as well. To me, keeping Manny here was a HUGE deal.
  7. So thankful for Quinn! He changed the trajectory of the program and got to live out his dream. Took us to the final 2 minutes of back to back national semifinal games. Left the program much better than he found it.
  8. This is very common. I hear it all the time. Arch changed the way Texas was looked at by a lot of kids and young adults. Obviously it helps that we are really good again now, but if you are talking to college age students the conversation is Arch and Quinn . If you are talking to high school or junior high students the conversation is Arch. I was expecting a lot of it, but it has been even bigger than I thought it would be.
  9. Quinn will light up the combine and his stock will rise. He played really well overall against Georgia last weekend and that will help too. Personally, I think McVay wants him and will move up to get him. Probably won’t take a first but no later than 2nd. He fits McVays mold. Quarterbacks are always over drafted.
  10. Nope. It is actually kind of sad how few of people we have donating, although I expect that to increase now that the LHF is awarding loyalty points for it. Everyone enjoying this success owe a few very generous people for making most of this happen. The small donor base has grown but I don’t even think we have hit 1500 donors on that yet…definitely not 2000 unless there has been a recent surge.
  11. Who had Tre Wisner looking like Ricky and Ced on their bingo card? who had Trevor Goosby coming in and not missing a beat when Banks went down. we basically ran it down their throat the entire second half and then had three bonehead plays…crazy that happened but we dominated them…complete domination. another shoutout to Vernon as well!
  12. I hope you are right, my average cost on it is $.64 so I am excited about a comeback!
  13. Perkins is definitely not a bust, not even close. Offenses don’t scheme for busts.
  14. For Bryce Young’s career this is the best thing that can happen to him. He needs time to step away from the mess of a franchise that place is. Leaving him in there every week at this point wouldn’t accomplish anything.
  15. When Gary Patterson had a pregame interview and they asked him how he was going to manage some injuries on his team. His answer was something to the sort of “We have beat better with worse” then he went out there and humiliated us.
  16. He basically had to build a new team with all his portal & graduation losses. I bet he gets that cleaned up.
  17. Excellent article and 100% true!
  18. Here you go. The cyber truck was really cool. Michigan fans were great all around!
  19. I don't think it is $20m yet. Was closer to $17-18m last year.
  20. I can't think of any of our commits that hasn't used their official visit unless they are 2026 and they wouldn't be taking an official visit this early. Furthermore, knowing the way communication runs before any visits the only way I can see this happening is if someone just showed up and they weren't aware.
  21. I didn’t realize CJ was already rocking the dad shoes this young !
  22. He did and Coach Schloss acknowledged him and then apologized to the reporter from Monday night. He also made it clear they coached to win the national championship. He also made it clear that the alignment at Texas was very important to him and it is needed to succeed.
  23. CDC told us back at a Texas One event that it would be moving to YouTube or an app. Looks like it will be an app and looks like they are doing it right!
