  1. All of this is spot on. Couldn’t believe the Bond no call but the outrage is only on the Taafe hit. SVP on ESPN spent 5 minutes on it last night. No mention of the bond play.
  2. Hopefully this is a series of reasons bc I don’t think there is just one. I posted a thread on it. Feels very ‘23 big 12 championship to me. You knew what Ok st was gonna do and it was shut down. Same with this game. if the 12 team field was based on the best 12, asu would not be playing.
  3. We smoked Ok st in the big 12 last year 49-21 or some such. For comparison, how do these two teams compare if they were to hypothetically play? Gordon vs Scattebo…
  4. Not sure he isn’t a 1/1 guy. Dude has mad arm talent and is extremely athletic
  5. Bowe Bentley - 9-14 333 yards 5 TD’s. that seems good. Watched this game. Qb is good.
  6. It’s the nature of the position. I get it. I know I sound like a Quinn apologist and maybe I am, but how different is that game, and his performance, if those other things don’t happen? He LIT up Georgia in the first half but had nothing to show for it? Why? Bc he can’t complete a pass in the red zone? Or is it bc the team around him continues putting him in really bad situations?
  7. This OP is like a CNN story. Technically true but severely lacking context. 3 red zone drives in the first half (that I recall). One offensive PI - 1st and a mile. One hold - 1st and a mile. One missed field goal. Yes there was an almost pick, but it wasn’t. The other things actually happened, yet we don’t call any of that out??
  8. If you had have said mobile quarterbacks convert more off schedule plays, I would have no argument. But that is not what you said.
  9. No. There is no data to support arch fixing anything. It is simply speculative to suggest that he would have performed better than Quinn.
  10. There is literally no data to support that argument.
  11. Listen to Blake say it. Haha
  12. This is going to fall in the dumb question category but I hear people occasionally saying Norter Dame, @Blake Munroe is this a regional thing or have I just been saying “Noter” incorrectly this whole time.
  13. Stewart and Anderson to go pro?
  14. Maybe call pettijohn and Sanchez and see if they answer.
  15. It’s definitely unusual but if you like mayo, you could power through it even if not your first choice.
  16. Love me some mayo on a nuce sandwich or burger…
  17. @Bobby Burton every time this comes up I want to know the answer. Do you not eat anything with mayo? Your disgust of the corn dog mayo concept leads me to believe that or is it just the thought of those two together? I’m more of a mustard/corn dog guy myself but if I had to mayo I could.
  18. Yeah but Bobby said this morning he knows stuff and not willing to talk about it.
  19. DJ Lagway “practiced” last week too.
  20. What’s not being said about Quinn is concerning. OTF “not getting in to it” and letting “sark report what he wants” is quite telling. If it was a mild sprain, which is/was being reported, what more is there to get in to or not?
  21. What’s funny and sad, had he stayed and had a better attitude would have had the perfect opportunity to play himself back in to the rotation these last few games. Shame.
  22. Texas SOS is currently 35 and likely top 25 in 2 weeks. Indiana is 106.
  23. No doubt. Undefeated is undefeated!
  24. The narrative these guys are pushing is asinine. Maybe not all of them, but many, including Klatt who I think is great, continue this narrative about Indiana. “It’s all about brand”. “If Alabama had the same resume as Indiana we wouldn’t be talking about them”. ”what about Texas? They are the same”. uh, no they aren’t. And it’s not even close. Just comparing Texas to Indiana - texas SOS is 35 and stands to go up these next two games. Indiana is 106. record of opponents played is roughly 53-47 to 39-63. (Just quickly did in my head could be off by a couple). I don’t know if Ohio st blasts IU this Saturday or not, but if they do, no chance Indiana has the resume to stay in and it’s not even a debate, IMO. Now if they are competitive (inside the number), I’ll stand down. But as of today, the arguments against them are 100% valid.
