  1. Listen to Blake say it. Haha
  2. This is going to fall in the dumb question category but I hear people occasionally saying Norter Dame, @Blake Munroe is this a regional thing or have I just been saying “Noter” incorrectly this whole time.
  3. Stewart and Anderson to go pro?
  4. Maybe call pettijohn and Sanchez and see if they answer.
  5. It’s definitely unusual but if you like mayo, you could power through it even if not your first choice.
  6. Love me some mayo on a nuce sandwich or burger…
  7. @Bobby Burton every time this comes up I want to know the answer. Do you not eat anything with mayo? Your disgust of the corn dog mayo concept leads me to believe that or is it just the thought of those two together? I’m more of a mustard/corn dog guy myself but if I had to mayo I could.
  8. Yeah but Bobby said this morning he knows stuff and not willing to talk about it.
  9. DJ Lagway “practiced” last week too.
  10. What’s not being said about Quinn is concerning. OTF “not getting in to it” and letting “sark report what he wants” is quite telling. If it was a mild sprain, which is/was being reported, what more is there to get in to or not?
  11. What’s funny and sad, had he stayed and had a better attitude would have had the perfect opportunity to play himself back in to the rotation these last few games. Shame.
  12. Texas SOS is currently 35 and likely top 25 in 2 weeks. Indiana is 106.
  13. No doubt. Undefeated is undefeated!
  14. The narrative these guys are pushing is asinine. Maybe not all of them, but many, including Klatt who I think is great, continue this narrative about Indiana. “It’s all about brand”. “If Alabama had the same resume as Indiana we wouldn’t be talking about them”. ”what about Texas? They are the same”. uh, no they aren’t. And it’s not even close. Just comparing Texas to Indiana - texas SOS is 35 and stands to go up these next two games. Indiana is 106. record of opponents played is roughly 53-47 to 39-63. (Just quickly did in my head could be off by a couple). I don’t know if Ohio st blasts IU this Saturday or not, but if they do, no chance Indiana has the resume to stay in and it’s not even a debate, IMO. Now if they are competitive (inside the number), I’ll stand down. But as of today, the arguments against them are 100% valid.
  15. Worth discussing. Sarks reputation is built on offense and developing QB’s. The mannings are exhibit A on putting their faith in him to develop their son. if Quinn was the highest rated recruit since ‘nam, what’s the problem? Many people are saying he’s only marginally better today than he was 2 years ago… He’s got the tools. He’s got the coach. Soooo???
  16. Nobody has yet to explain to me how through 2.5 games Quinn was the heisman front runner. He gets hurt. Then all of a sudden he’s the same guy as year one in year 3. The injury happened is the answer. BUT, the bigger point of my post was that there is a bit of a negative slant coming from this site when the team is 8-1 and ranked #3. Gerry more or less dismissed his A/A+ performance against florida. Give credit where it’s due. I don’t think I ever said this proves he can go slay the best defenses and that he should be 1/1.
  17. I mean, maybe. But go back as far as you need to go and show me a better 33 minutes of game action than 75% completion, 400 yards and 7 td’s (this assumes Moore catches both balls he dropped). Just doesn’t happen often. If someone wants to nitpick mechanics be my guest.
  18. That’s kind of what I’m saying thought. We saw it, then he got hurt and we didn’t see it after. I think the injury held him back mentally, physically or both. So I don’t ding him for that. I yesterday may not have been the best test but it was a damn good sight to see and gives us hope that he’s back to what we saw at the beginning of the year.
  19. You are right, and it’s fair to think that. I’m just a little different in that we saw an exceptionally high level from him for 2.5 games. Then he came back and regressed. Was that the injury or has he really not made the progress we thought? I’m just saying credit should be given where it’s deserved. He was pretty damn phenomenal yesterday, not perfect. Let’s celebrate that instead of comparing against 1/1 in the draft. IF (underline and in bold) we get that Quinn the rest of the way we’ll be alright.
  20. That’s fair but thought yesterday was more than meh. I don’t necessarily disagree with you but would have liked to see a healthy Quinn vs Georgia. Hopefully he has the chance to prove you wrong down the road, and does. It’s a fair critique.
  21. I love you guys, and hopefully you take this as a couple of guys sitting at a bar having a sports debate, but… you guys knew lagway wasn’t going to play. You knew they were banged up on defense. Yet you still said 24-13 and 34-17 (or some such). Then you get on this morning say “eh, they did what they were supposed to do.” “Too many back foot throws”. Etc. Without 2 on the money drops by Moore, Quinn’s stat line is 400+ yards and 7TD’s in just over a half. I saw one back foot throw that wasn’t a swing pass which you could argue was a perfect back shoulder throw to Golden. (You could also argue that was an inaccurate deep throw that Golden made good on) Texas could have scored 100 yesterday had they wanted to. so 2 things, I think Bobby specifically, you are dismissing the injury to Quinn having a material impact on the first couple games back., and Gerry, I’m not sure what else to say. what is the standard for Quinn when he puts up a stat line like that and we are still meh, it was fine… Not asking for sunshine pumping and you have your reasons but the slant on this 8-1 team who will be #3 is overly negative IMO. No team has played perfectly to this point. My 2 cents. Hook em
  22. Well Diego, if you were concerned about that you should not have gone to said junior college.
  23. If Texas does not fix its issues with rush/blitz pick up, more than just A&M will be a problem. Sack evasion can be more than escapability. Plenty of examples of immobile QB’s that had hall of fame careers.
  24. Does this have anything to do with Brew?
