  1. Dallas Thursday With Miles Sanders sitting with a bruised knee, rookie running back Jaydon Blue took more turns with the first-team offense. Schottenheimer has been happy with his work between the tackles, but he had a run up the middle that his burst was evident to get him to the second level.
  2. More from espn this week: Indy Tuesday: Richardson completed 10 of 13 passes in the full-team periods of practice, connecting on some of the day's most impressive plays. That included multiple throws to emerging receiver Adonai Mitchell, who was dominant on Tuesday. Jones finished 14-of-17 in full-team periods, consistently moving the ball and the chains. The performance begged the question: What is the ceiling of the Colts' offense in 2025? "I feel like time will tell," Mitchell said. "I feel like we look great, especially being able to go against a new opponent. I just can't wait." Mitchell was all over the field on Tuesday, and his confidence showed in his body language -- and his actual language. After beating cornerback Nate Wiggins on a deep route during one-on-one drills, Mitchell looked over at assembled media and exclaimed that Wiggins was "burned toast!" Moments later, Mitchell beat Chidobe Awuzie for a touchdown in the same drill, and again offered commentary, saying, "I told you!" green bay Wednesday: Who has been your standout performer of camp? Matthew Golden. They haven't played a preseason game yet and there's still technically several more weeks of training camp practice, but the first-round pick sure looks the part. By most accounts, Golden hasn't dropped a single pass during a team period in camp. And it's not for a lack of opportunities: Both Love and Willis have targeted him regularly. denver Monday It's too early to tell what the future might hold for Sam Ehlinger, who has worked as the Broncos' No. 3 quarterback throughout the offseason and training camp. But Ehlinger, who spent four seasons with the Colts, has gotten his head coach's attention. "He's extremely athletic, he's comfortable throwing on the run, there's a little moxie to him,'' Broncos coach Sean Payton said. "Sometimes it can be little big for guys, but with him not at all. You feel like a guy who's played well before, his confidence and carries himself that way. He's very good off the pocket, very good off schedule. He's strong, I like the player a lot.'' Ehlinger has authored a smattering of big plays so far in camp, including a 50-yard throw on the run to rookie Courtney Jackson for a score in the drills Monday. Ehlinger figures to get the third preseason game -- against New Orleans -- to make his final case for the Broncos roster or showcase himself for another team. thursday Payton said Thursday that rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron, who was the team's first-round selection in April's draft, continues to show a far-beyond-his-years approach in his play. "He's extremely football smart, you're seeing him down things in disguise you'd see from a veteran at the nickel position ... his athleticism, his football IQ, you don't feel a rookie."
  3. Add him to the arguably the number 1 qb, lb, rb, and dt
  4. In other maybe very relevant news… 👀👀👀 https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/football/2025/07/31/eddrick-houston-leaves-first-ohio-state-football-practice-with-injury/85458847007/
  5. Whole team is going to show up holding hands like the basketball team in practices, so everyone is first.
  6. So it’s being reported Spence to EDGE full time? Crazy talent in that room.
  7. Good for Kaluma to get his shot at the NBA

  8. Mccutcheon and Brown are your next 2 guys like this
  9. Difference is he was let go from the team just before and had a grudge. Wiley surely helped tcu but it’s on the coaches to have let his knowledge affect the game. This situation would be like Johntay texting Taurean York what plays we run.
  10. Yikes. 😬 https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/news/college-football/memphis-db-shared-defensive-coverages-signals-with-utsa-before-2024-game-per-report/
  11. Was about to throw my hat like the cj meme
  12. I can’t wrap my head about roster management in baseball. Imagine after we signed the number one class in football but then terry and Williams were drafted to the nfl and we lost Endries and Watson too before ever playing at Texas.
  13. Hope so. Would mean a successful year running the ball
  14. On Baxter. Hopefully stays on track https://x.com/kbohls/status/1947693137276899565?s=46
  15. I for one hope he gradually rehabs to the point that he is his old self by the end of the year. If he declares at that point then that would be good for all parties.
  16. Agree with all of this. Though I do think Spence may not be around next year if this year goes as planned. Atkinson will definitely be a part of the plan in 2026.
  17. Assuming this 2026 class ends up on its current trajectory, we should be set with another spectacular roster next year. Looking at where there are departures, it is obvious why Sark has gone after the guys we have gone after in 2026 Clear departures: OL Campbell, OL Hutson, DE Burke, DT Brevard, DT Shaw, DE/LB Moore, CB Guilbeau, S Taaffe, DS St. Louis, K Stone, K Shipley, P Bouwmester Eligible departures likely: LB Hill, CB, Muhammad, OL Goosby Eligible departures possible: RB Wisner, WR Moore, TE Endries, OL Umeozulu, DT Kanu, LB Lefau, LB Spence, S McDonald Elibgible depatures unlikely: QB Manning, OL Robertson, DT Johnson, S Williams, CB Roberson, DE Vasek, OG Stroh, RB Baxter, WR Niblett, TE Shannon, TE Randle, OL Cojoe, OL Chatman (few may depart for transfers off of this list) Where the 2026 class fits in: elite OT takes place of Goosby, depth at DL, stud CB to replace Muhammad, stud LB to replace Hill, stud RB to replace Wisner if he leaves, all 3 special teams guys. The only missing piece is Safety where we lose 1.. or 2 big time players. Like Riley a lot but Benjamin would complete this class from a pure roster management standpoint. TE is also not being replaced but the 2 young studs from the 2025 should fit in well with Washington for a strong 3 person group if Endries leaves.
  18. Surprised they didn’t take a shot at Texas for nil. tech and smu lol. 🤣
