  1. As i said in the game thread… too many poor side arm flicks without feet set. Look at this throw (ignore the fact that endries would have walked in for a td)
  2. Running game was more than competent. A big improvement from the last game. Baxter looked healthy. Punter is nails.
  3. I’ll have to go back and look at the throws again but arch’s quick twitch flick throws were frequently off the mark. I can understand him using them in pressure situations but many seemed nonchalant without any pressure in the face. Seems totally unnecessary
  4. Congrats to osu. Hate their fans but they got some players. Sayin was composed and did just enough. Their d is legit again
  5. Every drive is like cool we got the offense on the field. 10 seconds later. 3rd and 9
  6. Honestly sayin looks pretty good as a first time starter. Need to keep putting him is obvious throwing downs
  7. Sark feeling things out. Like the ability to run a little.. we aren’t getting a ton of yards today but it is functional. Pass pro is good. Osu has done well covering up our receivers. D looked good on 3 plays but got super lucky on the 4th down.
  8. I think a lot of this game hinges on whether we can get a north south run game with Baxter. We didn’t have that in the cotton bowl and it hurt us. Hope Baxter still has the one cut and go ability. Moving the ball 4 to 5 yards on first down makes this offense deadly. Ohio state is thinking of the same thing with Peoples.
  9. Well there it is. Thanks for guaranteeing the win Blake!

  11. Not a totally fair comparison of talent when you consider guys like taaffe, tre moore, tre wisner, jack endries and brad spence are not blue chip recruits on this list. We should be top 2 at worst
  12. Ags are definitely QBsNotDevelopedThenTransferToSomewhereElseToDevelop U

  17. I had been thinking about a what could go wrong thread.. essentially my thoughts were similar to what you mentioned. Arch is still experienced and it is simply unreasonable to expect him to play like a seasoned veteran like what Peyton and Eli were in their senior years. He will likely turn the ball over. The OL is clearly vulnerable given lack of time to gel. The run game could falter if we can’t run inside with wisner and Baxter can’t produce enough agility to make the first guy miss. Oh and we need to figure out a way to corral the best receiver in college football again.. this time without the Thorpe award winner. my hope is that we can pressure sayin enough to not allow the receivers to break free and stop the run with out experienced and fresh tackles. I feel good that we will have success but there are too many offensive questions for me to think we are scoring a lot of points in this game.
  18. It’s true there was a lot more issues back then crowning a true champion and it’s the reason aggy can triple their nattys overnight. If you go by those the Yale is still a blue blood program.
