  1. Some info on the new hire https://okstate.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/jason-mcendoo/2386
  2. Grew up in Donna, Tx. “Once a Redskin, Always a Redskin.” Now retired and living in Edinburg, Tx.
  3. All too often we are focused solely with the on field success or failure of our favorite team and overlook those no longer able to play. J. Cook, while not injured, is a very fresh reminder of the troubles that can befall one we very recently cheered. Also we are fortunate to have good men and women in charge of UT and its athletic department.
  4. Great interview. I hope he returns. Enjoy
  5. Fantastic. We need all hands on deck as soon as possible to prep for another conference and title run in 2025.
  6. If you are referring to Dan Orlovsky’s opinion, you are wrong. Sark explained in the postgame press conference that the staff decided during prep that if in that situation, they wanted to try to go wide. Did it work? No, but the fact it didn’t work does not make it a bad call. But to go back to your OP about that play being on the Mt. Rushmore of dump play calls, I believe you are also wrong. Sark is almost unanimously considered one of the best play schemers and callers in college football. Sometimes the bad guys just make good plays and calling out Sark for one call is just wrong IMO.
  7. Here is a link to the YouTube video.
  8. Let’s face it, 40, 50 or more players contributed to the success of this year’s team. From Banks (the best lineman in college football) playing every snap in the OSU game to Vasek’s 6 plays, everyone on the field deserves some recognition. A book could be written about the highs and lows, the personalities, and the character of this team. One final thought. I think special mention should go to Quinn who overcame injuries to led us to back to back semi-final games. All the while suffering the hateful and vile comments from the so-called fans on message boards (fortunately not so much on OTF) and social media. Just today, two days after the game, I saw FB posts calling Quinn a choke artist or celebrating him leaving the program. JMO.
  9. I disagree. While the play turned put to be a disaster it is useless to nitpick one single play. If you're going to do that then go and use Bond’s drop or Helms losing the ball on the way down. Without Sark we are not in the playoff this year or last year.
  10. There is no love fest. Quinn has been criticized and attacked as much as any player in recent history in the 40 Acres. So, you are wrong and sit back and enjoy the win and post less.
  11. I understand people’s frustration with Quinn. However, we do not win without Quinn. For all the criticism heaped upon him we all need to heap equal amounts or more for how he led the team twice into FG range in the last two minutes. And then in the overtimes he throws two TDs. So stop your whining about Quinn and enjoy the victory.
  12. If we would have played the entire season the way we played the last few games, we would be the unquestionable winner.
  13. IMO, Hall and the Bama LB (whose name escapes me) were reaches and the staff knew it but were desperate to get talent in the roster. Today, we are not as desperate and can afford to be a bit more picky in the Portal.
