  1. Praying for a rapid and total recovery from this horrible accident. Our family is praying for Jordan and his entire family. Coach, I know this is hard, know we are all praying for you and your son. Being a dad just is what it is sometimes.
  2. Coppell, Texas (Born and raised in Austin, BT (before traffic))
  3. The Universe re-balances itself Texas 10- Georgia -9.
  4. I am grateful to God that Colt came out of this and stayed with us, someday I would like to meet this young man. I'm sure it's not hard to have a grateful spirit after something like this. May all God's blessings shine down on Colt, Blake and indeed all of us in this approaching Holiday Season!
  5. It all clicks on Offense but the D loses a step without Taaffe, next week's conversation becomes... "where was this hiding?" Texas 42-24.
  6. Texas-17 Florida-9
  7. Born and raised in Austin before there was traffic. Dad had his undergrad and Medical degree from UT. He took me to the home opener of the 1969 season (TX-49 Tech-7) and it kind of became our thing. Dad bought season tickets starting in 1970. Went 40 years without missing a home game, vast majority with dad. Went to Texas as a Pre-Med Biology major, but ended up as an airline Captain. The work schedule and having kids put an end to the 40 year home game streak, but that's okay. The kids are grown (with one daughter a UT grad), and I just retired so I'm 5 years into a new streak!
  8. Many good ones listed above, love it every time Tony Hills is on, but it's hard to beat Blake telling us Colt was going to be okay.
  9. I don't like them and I don't like the unnecessary complication they always seem to pose by being an independent, but I can't say I'm in favor of forcing them to join a conference. A patsy schedule is its own penalty in several ways.
  10. It's only the second best thing they did, the best thing they did was to fire Olbermann 😀
  11. Freer band is now beyond the half way point.
  12. Seems like the drive has lost steam about halfway home.
  13. Seems to be stuck at $8701.
