    That's what I think the goal should be, but Gerry's been pretty consistent that Fasusi highly prioritized early playing time during his recruitment. Valuing early playing time over sitting for a year or so on a talented roster does not seem like a decision a player makes if he's all about competing for championships...

    It doesn't seem like he's a player looking to compete for Nattys in college. It seems like his priority is being the big offensive star on the team. Being the one bright spot at OU for three years will highlight his talent and isn't a bad strategy for going round 1 in the draft. This is all assuming he can get the development he needs from Bill Bedenbaugh which I think he can.

    This is what I think people are forgetting. Dude's got a whole lotta arm talent, and just isn't the hero we've needed in the Georgia games. I agree he hasn't earned a first round grade, but I bet a team drafts him second round and sits him behind a decent QB so he can further develop. Give him a year or two without injuries so that he can craft his game and I think he's still got the talent to have a career as an NFL QB1.
