  1. In a game where there might not be any points scored by half, you kick FG. Except for OSU’s wideouts, Sayin is bunch were raw. They were not going to score more than 17. Take the points in that type of game.
  2. Good thoughts but the problem was Sark not kicking two field goals. He placed more pressure on his inexperienced offense to chase those six points the in the fourth quarter. If he had those six points, he could have, though not necessary, after Parker’s TD gone for two. Whatever, he did after that TD, on that last drive, he only needs a FG to win the game, not a miracle TD to go to OT. OSU would have had to defend the field differently. Smart people knew this game was a one-score game differential, except Sark. On the road, defending national champs, and he was throwing sure points away. This is not the first time because OU 2023 is another example.
  3. You don’t get it. When we needed it, he didn’t get it. You don’t understand Ohio State’s defensive game plan, but I get it the nuances of football, the average fan doesn’t get. It appears Sark doesn’t either since he doesn’t understand the importance of kicking field goals.
  4. It is clear that Jeff, Bobby, CJ, Gerry have no clue. Read their posts. Listen to the You Tube channels. I would think Rod should since he played the game. Hopefully, Erwin and Shipley do. However most press people are as brain dead as Sark. None of won’t ask the right question at he press conference. What question is that? Sark, why not take the points? Field goals are not bad, not against very good teams. You left 6 points off the board in a game that was going to be low scoring and a probably a one score game. Guess what? You were chasing those points in the fourth quarter. if you had those six points, you might have gone for two after Parker’s TD, though not necessary because of time. However, you ended up having to get a touchdown at the end of the game whereas a field goal would have been easier to achieve against a salty defense. They would have had to defend the field differently. Your arrogance cost your kids the game. Cost them a decent chance to win the game Instead of needing a miracle to go into overtime. You need to make better decisions. This is not the first time. For example against OU, if you had taken a FG in 2023 instead of running Brooks or throwing a pass to a 160 pound WR behind the line of scrimmage, you could have tried to get a FG on that last drive instead of chasing a TD. Guess what? No one would be recalling that failed goal line attempt. Play to win th game. Tell your kids three points are good points, very good points. You writers, blog guys, at the press conference will get stupid and ask the *** wrong questions about red zone problems because it appears you don’t understand the purpose of the game either instead of asking Sark why did you not take the points in a game on the road against the defending national champs. You had an inexperienced QB, OL, even WRs, and instead of helping them, you put them in the hole. Then after he answers, yada, yada because he is going to give some stupid answer to defend his dumb decisions. Just one writer needs to ask? So your bad decisions not to take the points cost your team the game? I am not crying for a new coach or a new play caller but a coach who understands the basic game of football.
  5. Don’t over due that run game. Ohio State wasn’t worried about Wisner. He was slow and hesitant.
  6. See if you could do the birth by Zoom call. Perhaps tOSU could put it in the big board for you. Just tell your wife to wave.
  7. I meant to say Gerry is great on evaluating recruits even kids who don’t commit to Texas.
  8. I like Coffee and Football and listen a little bit every day. However, I think Inside Texas has great guys on the X and O’s of the game. Both are pro Texas no doubt but Bobby Burton tries to be fair about things. C.J. Is good but perhaps more homer. Gerry is great on recruits, all recruits even on Texas kids. The It guys shoot straight, and Ian knows how the game is played. 247 they are good overall.,
  9. I bleed orange blood and follow Ohio State reports daily because we are going to play them. There are no reports that he is turning the ball over. Julian is a good young QB with 5 star receivers every where. It irritates me that we have so many arrogant fans who disrespect a worthy opponent, especially one who just beat us. This game will be tough.
  10. Anyone who watched Tony Dorsett play might make an argument for him. Though no one would want to agree O.J. Simpson was awesome at USC. His run against UCLA in 1967 during the fourth quarter was one of the best plays I have ever seen.
  11. Agree about Nobis. Rodgers and Bush are a wash.
  12. All I know about Sam is that he was 1-4 against OU and never won a championship. Colt was 3-1 against OU and won a conference championship. Vince was like 1-2 against OU and won it all. Quinn was 2-1 against OU and won a championship. Vince, Sam, and Colt were pro QBs but not elite. Vince flashed. Colt played some and Sam holds a clip board. Quinn has played the second half of the first exhibition game.
  13. So what? They have and will beat the hell out of her. Of course, she has to defend herself because the league won’t.
  14. They are in Austin
  15. You want to watch petty, small women beat up one girl from Iowa or poor officiating or both? Because these are the reasons it is physical.
  16. Texas will earn its first preseason AP No. 1 ranking in program history Sometimes I’ll come across a stat on Sports Reference that’s so stunning that I have to check 6 different places to verify it. While working on a story about why Texas should not want to be the preseason No. 1 team in the AP Poll — that stems entirely from the fact that the preseason No. 1 failed to win a national title 19 out of the last 20 seasons — I stumbled on something that blew my mind. Texas has never been a preseason No. 1 team in the AP Poll. It’s been close. It was the preseason No. 2 in 2009, 2005, 1970, 1965 and 1962, but since the preseason AP Poll became a thing in 1950, it never held that No. 1 spot entering the season. This year, that finally changes. It was picked to win the SEC, which has been the preamble for the preseason AP No. 1 team each of the last 4 years. Yeah, maybe that’s a bit because of the Arch Manning hype, but a team riding consecutive Playoff semifinal trips that returns a wealth of talent on defense would be worthy of that honor. Well, I suppose recent history suggests it’s a bit more of a dubious honor. First time maybe
  17. I watch hockey, football, and wrestling if I want to watch contact, not small-minded women.
  18. Library? What’s that?
  19. Craig James? I have followed Texas since 68, and I wouldn’t put him in the top ten, not even in the same room with Bosworth.
  20. A judge will overrule him.
  21. Y’all don’t get it. The Aggies were sending a subliminal message to Sark: Come and coach us because we want a real SEC coach.
  22. I thought Bobby and Gerry said that this is a new age in recruiting, which means that the old dynamics don’t work anymore so your post is using old data that signifies nothing at the present time. And sad to say. all your legwork and all Gerry’s trips are a waste of time when it comes to talking to players. You need to find their agents and talk to them. A kid eliminating schools except for four or five simply means one of you four schools need to show me the money Also those early commitments are kids who are not going to make a lot of money. Every school has to get them so they can buy about 5 to ten guys. Not your fault or any mods but it is what it is because in the article Bobby promoted the schools don’t even know the rules.
