Both are pro Texas no doubt but Bobby Burton tries to be fair about things. C.J. Is good but perhaps more homer. Gerry is great on recruits, all recruits even on Texas kids. All I know about Sam is that he was 1-4 against OU and never won a championship. Colt was 3-1 against OU and won a conference championship. Vince was like 1-2 against OU and won it all. Quinn was 2-1 against OU and won a championship. Vince, Sam, and Colt were pro QBs but not elite. Vince flashed. Colt played some and Sam holds a clip board. I thought Bobby and Gerry said that this is a new age in recruiting, which means that the old dynamics don’t work anymore so your post is using old data that signifies nothing at the present time. And sad to say. all your legwork and all Gerry’s trips are a waste of time when it comes to talking to players. You need to find their agents and talk to them. A kid eliminating schools except for four or five simply means one of you four schools need to show me the money Also those early commitments are kids who are not going to make a lot of money. Every school has to get them so they can buy about 5 to ten guys. Not your fault or any mods but it is what it is because in the article Bobby promoted the schools don’t even know the rules.
