  1. He says Texas has "tenuous depth." Honestly, where is there "tenuous depth" on the roster, especially compared to what other programs have? I would say across every position Texas would have a top 10 depth.
  2. Where will they put all the 2026 2nd-place-with-a-recruit recruiting trophies? Probably need a new building for all those, right?
  3. Summary: A bunch of poor schools can now talk big money with recruits. But those schools are historically poor and don't know how to think critically about money or budget. They are throwing out big contracts without a worry about tomorrow because their current roster is cheap. They will reap what they sow in a year or two. Those schools will feel some real pain and embarrassment in time, and it will be worse than losing some close recruitments in June and July 2025.
  4. @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel Can you provide your comparison of how the 2025 and 2026 Texas OL/DT/DE recruit targets stack up against each other by rank ordering in one list? I think I got all the legitimate targets from each class listed below (no order) OL: Michael Fasusi Nick Brooks John Mills Jordan Coleman Devin Coleman Jackson Christian John Turntine Felix Ojo Max Wright Malakai Lee Sam Roseborough Sam Utu Zaden Krempin Nicolas Robertson DT: Justus Terry Kevin Wynn DJ Sanders Myron Charles Josiah Sharma Chace Sims Joseph Mbatchou Brandon Brown Zion Williams James Johnson Vodney Cleveland Kendall Guervil Dylan Berymon Corey Wells Lamar Brown Damari Simeon DE: Lance Jackson Javion Hilson Smith Orogbo Marco Jones Richard Wesley Bryce Perry Wright Jake Kreul Jamarion Carlton Luke Wafle Trenton Henderson Dre Quinn JaReylan McCoy
  5. Given that 1-2 round picks (including compensation and competitive balance) get $1M - $11M, I would assume any high school guys we have projected in those rounds are good as gone. Below that, there might be a chance?
  6. Here's the thing: I have never met a Xavier grad in real life. Nor do I know like a friend of friend of friend kind of a situation where someone is a Xavier grad. I think in a poll of 100 reasonably educated people, 0 people could point on a map which state Xavier is in. So, I take all these supposed pissed off Xavier people with a grain of salt. More than likely they are just twitter bots trying to troll people. People that care about Xavier are not real.
  7. Yormark should be careful what he wishes for. This might result in all big 12 crews being fired. He might not have refs for all the big 12 games next year.
  8. Some of y'all haven't followed recruiting more than 5 minutes, and it is really showing.
  9. Sounds like we are down to 2 Hi's now
  10. I would think from a physical development standpoint, WR and CB seem like the positions to most likely realize early playing time from reclassifying. All others, the kid would need to be a beast.
  11. I got bad flashbacks seeing "Let's Ride"
  12. I remember when ESPN came out with its top 100 players last year and they didn't include Banks. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38122924/top-100-players-caleb-williams-maye-bowers-2023
  13. I believe this is incorrect. However, a player gets lifetime health benefits when they play just one day in the MLB.
  14. Doesn't seem like anyone on this list is on commit watch for the weekend, right?
  15. Getting 10 players drafted is elite. That doesn't happen for many schools or all that often.
  16. The grade definitions are absolute nonsense. For example, I don't know if the boom-or-bust grade is a good or bad thing
  17. It sounds like all parties and money behind UT recently aligned to be ready to go toe to toe with any other program for an elite DT. whereas I don't think many other programs can say the same.
  18. I don't think who the DL coach is will be the biggest factor.
