  1. Here are some PORTAL acronyms: - Players Opting Relentlessly To Abandon Lineups - Pit Of Ruin; Talent All Left - Personnel Outflow; Roster Turnover Almost Lethal
  2. Let's be real here. It's a huge red flag and the most important thing. It's not like we are at a 50% hit rate on our main targets at positions of need. It's 0%. And it's clearly not NIL. This sample size points to a real problem in the org. It's one or a combo of the following: - we aren't prioritizing the right targets: Brand Harris's fault. - we are convincing the players to sign: coaches and Brandon Harris's fault. Sure, we can point to other schools struggling in the portal but not everyone is going 0'fer on their main targets, they are having some level of success. And for a school like Texas that has a huge NIL backing, the hit rate like this is unacceptable. There can't be excuses at this point for Texas coaches and staff. Either you can handle portal recruiting or you need to get out of the program.
  3. Is this the joy that Michigan, Florida, Louisville, and soon to be ASU have felt?
  4. Add a 2025 snap count requirement, especially at a position where we are looking for a starter. I think >300 could work.
  5. Based on the logic of his statement, yes. But if he was thinking logically, he wouldn't have stated that. What he really wants to say is Texas is out because they had 3 losses, which points to the real culprit: the OSU loss. But he can't say that because that would go against all of their stated criteria - that they don't follow. So he has to make this illogical statement to sound like they are actually evaluating things. But they aren't.
  6. Following Hancock's logic, if Alabama played and lost to OSU and we played someone other than OSU and won - and everything else stayed the same - Alabama would still be in and we would still be out because all that matters is the Florida loss. Do these morons not realize that we can see through their idiocy? Hancock and everyone that keeps saying "it's the Florida loss" should not be allowed to eat cold soup with a spoon because they are that dumb. Strength of schedule or anything though provoking had nothing to do with the CFP decision. All they did was use their finger to count how many wins and losses and choose their favorite teams. Nothing else.
  7. That's because the big 12 was weak, and we needed a quality win to help our case. That doesn't matter at all now that we are in the SEC. The level of competition is so much higher.
  8. Cancel OSU. It's pointless. We needed those type of games when we were big 12. Not now. Even if we move to 16 teams, no OOC against teams that are in the top half of their conference. We should schedule Cal, Minnesota, Rutgers, Purdue, UCF, Stanford, Wake Forest, etc.
  9. The highest viewer total all season for a game. I don't think Fox or any network wants to lose those types of games going forward. That's ultimately what's at stake in the decision for Texas or any other team in SEC or Big 10 scheduling non conference games going forward. Millions of viewers, millions of ad dollars. Losing games like that will have a significant effect on the P&L for a network.
  10. Not having an AA safety, another starting safety getting injured, and your DEs getting held all game will cause problems for any secondary.
  11. Just trying to keep the IQ of this board at a respectable level.
  12. Stop being dumb, champ. Your lack of football knowledge is showing.
  13. I know the truth. Stop being dumb about football.
  14. Now do the same when we have our starting safeties playing. Don't be dumb
  15. Sark, it's hard to do that when you don't commit to running the ball.
  16. I know who's accountable.
  17. That answer doesn't cut it. Because when the game is in doubt, pitch counts go out the window.
  18. We gave the ball to Wisner 12 times. Why? Someone needs to ask Sark that question. Wisner is the only consistent part of the offense, and Sark didnt make him a priority in the game.
  19. Thank you! Too many posters on here are trying to pin this on Sark and his play calling... Those posters are completely out of touch and just lazy. This was all Arch. Arch was awful. Plain and simple. He made so many terrible throws on what should have been routine passes. That killed drives all game long. Any poster here that can't point to that as the fundamental problem in this game is blind. If Arch can make more of those simple throws, this game and Sark's play calls are different. What is any OC supposed to do when the QB can't make a simple throw.
  20. "However Bert sinned against you, please help us avoid that same mistake. Amen"
  21. He says Texas has "tenuous depth." Honestly, where is there "tenuous depth" on the roster, especially compared to what other programs have? I would say across every position Texas would have a top 10 depth.
  22. Where will they put all the 2026 2nd-place-with-a-recruit recruiting trophies? Probably need a new building for all those, right?
