  2. If you’ve never been to a game, Bevo’s Blvd is fun, watching the players enter the stadium, Bevo entering the stadium and the band entrance are all fun. Longhorn City Limits is fun if you like music but can be crowded. Check out the schedule. Gonna be early and chilly this Sat
  3. I’m with you buddy. Yes, there are things we need to improve upon but a win is a win and a night game at Kentucky has been a trap game for many teams. Of course we are going to talk all week about how to fix the problems and hopefully rally like we did with OU because we are going to need to. But let’s celebrate the win, great special teams and awesome goal line stand. And then we can pray for our offense!
  4. We’re gonna have to keep lane integrity. LSU not doing that
  5. Phenomenal! There aren’t many sports that allow you to dominate as a single player both on offense and on defense like baseball. You could have just as great of a game in basketball, football, soccer etc but the games outcome is too dependent on the other players. A shutdown pitching performance and one homerun and you win the game. There isn’t a single position on a football defense where you can single-handedly win an NFL playoff game. Too dependent on others.
  6. "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!" Hook’em!
  7. gonna be spending Thanksgiving in NYC and looking for best place to watch A&M game with fellow Longhorns. Have seen Stout NYC and Continental Sports Lounge mentioned online. Would appreciate any recommendations. Hook’em!
  8. Three safeties?
  9. What was weird about the 0-10 stretch is that he looked pretty good up until then. Think he was 4of5 and it looked pretty good. When they went for it on 4th down and missed open Wingo the drought was on. Imagined pocket pressure too IMO
  10. Two areas looking for improvement. 1) Arch/Wingo chemistry and 2) less penalties. A good outcome would be more Wingo receptions than team penalties. 41-6 final score
  11. Is Collin Simmons ready to be an every down player? Seemed like they ran at him and he didn’t hold the edge. Yesterday we didn’t get them into enough 3rd and longs where they could release the hounds
  12. Even the short throws that were completed required receive to make difficult catches. Quinn was so good at putting the short pass in a good spot to allow receiver to get some YAC yardage
  13. When ur QB isn’t effective and they don’t have to worry about the pass the red zone gets a lot easier to defend. Should’ve run toss sweep in retrospect
  14. Game seemed too fast for Arch. Worse footwork than Quinn with less pressure. Our defense played good enough to win
  15. Defense is ballin’! Sark and Arch gotta figure this out
  16. Step away from the ledge. Clean up the penalties and we are fine!
  17. Limited Goosby or backup LT going to limit the passing game Sark calls. May be a lot more conservative than he would normally be
  18. Happy B-Day Bobby…we’re gonna miss you Lee…and Hook’em Horns!
  19. Missing first two spring footballs and freshman year heavy price to pay if baseball is the hobby. No gimmes in life so if you want something sometimes you have to sacrifice something else to realize ur dream. Unless ur Bo Jackson, of course!
  20. Awesome to see our Longhorn heroes being heroes off the field! https://www.chron.com/sports/college/article/derrick-johnson-childrens-book-20806854.php
  21. Any chance Gerry brings oatmeal cream cookies and corn dogs with mayo?
  22. Glad JW is able to realize his baseball dreams but can’t help wonder where he’d be if he had participated in spring football and been working all this time on FB
  23. Get over it and don’t read too much into it. This isn’t any different than the general UT hate we contend with every season every game. How is it different than being ranked #1 during the season last year. We lost that ranking after UGA loss but kept fighting and were right there at the end. Keep your eye on the prize and don’t get caught up in the hype, good or bad, and it’s all there for us!
