I agree! That’s all everyone has talked about these last two years. I know it’s hard with the split divisions, but they have to find a way to make it work somehow! While they are at it, PLEASE find a better venue than the Alamodome! Not sure if they will ever move it to DFW, but Dickies Arena in Ft Worth would be perfect! I’m excited for this weekend though. Heritage-Westbrook game should great! N Crowley-Brennnan will be as well. Also excited to see if Bo Ogden can grab himself a state championship against a super solid Little Elm! Not to mention the 3 Dallas ISD schools going for state championships!

More for the basketball heads here, but if you were anywhere close to DFW last night, I hope you were able to make it to some of the state semifinal games in the metroplex! Duncanville vs North Crowley was a defensive slugfest with a huge shot by North Crowley by a kid who had not played the entire game. Ended on a bit of controversy! And Frisco Heritage pulled off a last second shot to knock off defending state runner up Birdville. Frisco Heritage Cam Lomax with a big time runner to win the game! Lomax scored his 3000th career point in that game. @Gerry Hamilton you would have loved either of these games!

Southlake Carroll staying from moving into district with Denton Guyer, Frisco Wakeland and the Lewisville ISD schools is a definite advantage for Southlake!

North Crowley vs Duncanville should be standing room only for football and basketball!

First Head scratcher for me is Aledo in District 3 6A, while Crowley and North Crowley being in the District of Doom…

Yeah that’s my thought as well. That being said, I’ve heard that some schools are trying to get him to return to college as opposed to the draft. He’s looked at going in the back 3rd of the draft right now. He could make more staying in college for a year. Will be interesting to see it play out.

Wonder if Ty Simpson is looking at going the portal route as opposed to the draft and Horton looking to follow? Miami maybe? Horton was there initially…

Didn’t his entire family move to Austin with him and open a food truck? If so, I would definitely lean more to a pro decision rather than a portal one.

They are by far not the worst….But the current situation at LSU is an absolute cluster…Fire BK…Owe him 53 million…But don’t pay him and say well you actually didn’t fire him and now you fire him for cause….But you don’t really have a for cause reason…Then the governor says the AD won’t hire the next coach…AD quits the job…Then you put the interim tag on the assistant AD who has never been in the position and a few days later take the interim tag off…News comes out they are offering Lane a couple Brinks trucks to save face…This could absolutely backfire and set their program back if the hire isn’t the right one!

Is there a way to go and look at the All-22 film of today? I was at the game and would like to be able to see if what I was seeing in person coincides with what was on film. Pretty underwhelming game for my son and I first DKR experience. Glad to have it nonetheless! Can’t wait to get back later this season with both of my boys!
