  1. Yeah surprisingly non-dominant
  2. Auburn has the worst P5 offense in all of football and they beat them 16-10 in CS.
  3. Had two chances to get his name right 😂
  4. Well said. Though rivals are always paying attention. Good football programs can chew gum and walk at the same time.
  5. Maybe Arch and Sark are just waiting to pull out this meme vs OU
  6. I’m willing to bet my house that no QB other than Arch Manning will see non-garbage time minutes this Saturday. Nor should they. The solution that Nick Saban did in 2023 is not applicable to the Arch situation. Arch is having a mental/confidence issue. The solution to a mental/confidence issue is not to bench your QB. Jalen Milroe’s issue in 2023 was not the same. It wasn’t even really an issue for Milroe- we were just really good with a good defense. SHSU is not the same as SJSU or UTEP. SJSU and UTEP were nobodies, but with a pulse. You don’t lead the nation in negative plays and sacks like UTEP unless you have at least a slight pulse/capacity to be disruptive. I don’t think SHSU even has the capacity to be disruptive. This will be the closest to “running on air” that the offense has got. Which is exactly what I think they need. At this point, they need a true layup game with long TDs, etc, backups in by the 3rd Q. I think we can get that and I think it’s critical. If we can get that, I think that plus the bye week will give them what they need vs Florida. Then a win vs Florida, even if it’s close, will give them what they need to take on OU.
  7. Does seem like whack a mole. 2019 LSU defense was sufficient and peaked at the right time. But 2020-2024 was bad for sure. LSU’s resume is the most inflated in the country right now imo. They’ve benefitted from wins over 2 of the most overhyped teams in the preseason, who clearly have offensive issues. UGA looks better to me for sure off of the Tennessee win.
  8. They’re the #3 team in the country. They’re getting credit. Very arguably too much credit.
  9. Looking for some game day advice. Bringing my step father in law and brother in law to their first game 09/20. Step father in law isn’t in best of health unfortunately , so we’ll likely leave before the end of the 4th quarter to try to beat the rush out. When is the “best” time to leave, so that I can miss the least amount of the new GameDay stuff that goes on?
  10. Yeah, I get that many would rate us lower. Hence, the “at best”. our defense has demonstrated itself to be one of the best in the country imo
  11. OSU Miami UGA LSU Oregon PSU OU FSU TAMU Tennessee GaTech Utah Bama Texas
  12. The “better recruiting” part is nonsense. Arch Manning was one of the biggest recruiting wins of all time. Got 4 WRs that were 5* in one service or another last year. Wingo- 5*. TEs recruited well (including portal). OL recruiting is solid. CJ Baxter- highly recruited. Solid recruiting other than him at RB They’re young and the defense isn’t. The coaches have said that essentially the experienced defenders like Taafe, etc can make fix bad play calls or make them look like good play calls by playing well. On the other hand, the inexperienced offense can make good play calls look bad. For instance- the first play call vs tOSU. Schemed up very well and Arch skipped it off the turf. Offense just needs to develop with more experience
  13. He will definitely be a regular on the All Names team
  14. I’ve seen Sark’s record of 2-8 vs the Top 10 since 2021 get thrown around as evidence he can’t win big games. I think it’s a little misleading. We were just rebuilding/not good in 2021-2022. We did good to beat anyone those years. Sark has clearly brought us back 2023 to present. Record since 2023: 2-5. Not great, but let’s take a look at the losses. 2023- OU and Washington 2024- Georgia x2, tOSU 2025- tOSU Which of these games “should” Sark have realistically won? I’d argue OU, UGA in SEC CG and (maybe) tOSU this year. Washington in 2023 and tOSU in 2024 were just better teams (than almost everyone in the country for UW and everyone for tOSU). I’d argue Sark is 2-3 in Top 10 matchups he “should have” realistically won. Also, ASU and Clemson were two of the top 10 teams in the country last year imo (ASU actually finished #7). So I’d say really 3-3 or 4-3 vs teams in the 3-10 range since 2023
