This team won’t make it out of the regionals again

Our 5 and 6 hole hitters are batting .260. Not good injuries or not

Never seen a team throw so many breaking ball strikes over the middle with 0-2 and 1-2 counts. It’s stupidity (yes I know that home run is on the error)

If Mendozas injury is serious, we are in big big trouble with this already thin lineup

Clearly they don’t because what happens if you go to a game 4 or 5 in a regional or to get to the CWS finals?

Unfortunately we would need these guys to pitch in a regional or potential Omaha game. Not good

Feels so very similar to last year. Pitchers can’t throw strikes at the end and the bats went cold.

Yeah I over exaggerated a bit. I wish Schloss brought in more left handed pitchers that can spin the ball like he did at A&M and with Volantis. Outside of a few guys, we either have no control or no spin out of the bullpen.

Complete redo this offseason. Pitchers are not good enough in this bullpen

Our offense has not been great in the sec outside of last night and game 1 vs OU lol. A&Ms lineup has continuously put up big games in the sec… their pitching let them down.

Top to bottom this lineup is below average. Having Borba, gumbo etc in the lineup is not good. Not blaming Schloss’s because we lost a couple of portal guys to the draft. But it still doesn’t compare to those all American type players. Furthermore they’re one year rentals unlike the other 3 at A&M were. A rod has been a disappointment due to injuries, yes. But if he can’t stay healthy then that’s that.

Schloss got guys like Jace, Grahovic and Sorrell to A&M… but nothing close to similar so far at Texas hitting wise

Never seen a pitching staff crumble like this. Max Weiner isn’t all that

Bullpens are going to allow 3 runs on no hits? That should never happen at Texas. No excuses *in one inning

0 is good for an infield hit every now and then but that’s all

Bullpen is horrible and the bottom half of the lineup is horrid. Really needed more from the portal

Seems like this team never even tries to hit the ball to opposite field

Offensively we have potential but I was expecting far more from Schloss’s teams. At A&M, he had 3 elite offenses in each of his seasons. I know we’ve had bad injury luck,but we’re way too inconsistent at the plate.
