    2025 Texas TE commit Emaree Winston just arrived at the airport at the conclusion of his official visit. Winston told OTF his recruitment is basically shut down following the OV despite some noise from Auburn. Winston said he got to recruit Jaime Ffrench, Kaliq Lockett and Nick Townsend. Interestingly, he said he did not know if Townsend was a TE or a defensive end. Regardless, a positive trip for the Longhorns.

    Not a great year for in state defensive tackles to be down. Though Texas remains active with some of the country’s best.

    I do wonder how that fanbase will take the extension a year from say if Arnold has a slow start, or the schedule gets the best of him.

    Dallas Jesuit had a LHP in 2016 named Kyle Muller, I believe at one point was expected to go to Texas, who was the best pitcher I ever face. Was picked 27th by the Braves and was the A’s opening day starter last year. Faced him in a preseason tournament my senior season. He started with 5 straight K’s then threw me a change and I grounded out to short. Contact nonetheless, but he was incredible. Added a 400+ foot homer that game as well
