    From Cocoa Beach! @Gerry Hamilton and I just wrapped up our coordinator press conference video out here at Coconuts on the Beach in Cocoa Beach, Florida. I may or may not have recreated a Baywatch scene in our recap so stayed tuned for that. All in all, not a bad place to be on December 28th!

    Big time news! Safety Jelani McDonald has announced he will return for the 2026 season! This was a decision that was very much leaning towards another season on the 40 Acres and now that the news is official, it is a massive start to Will Muschamp’s first defense at Texas.

    Texas is likely to take two backs out of the portal after the Wisner news. Cook fits a role that Wisner would have played and has extreme production. We’ll see what the price tag is or his overall interest from a nationwide perspective. Talented player.

    Any report this month about Wisner returning was quite inaccurate. There was a consistent gap between Texas and Wisner’s camp which was obviously never bridged. It’s also why I maintained “all three avenues” were on the table for the Longhorn RB throughout this process.

    Definitely the case. Look for two guys strong, solid with production in 2025.
