    1. Did he ever seriously consider pro baseball at any point? 2. My favorite Ricky moment was seeing him rip off a long run against Miss State in the Cotton Bowl. I was there with my dad, and I got to see him rip off a long TD and do a Heisman pose. It was great. And seeing them beat the crap out of Jackie Sherril' team was sweet....

    Yep that 3 minute span by Weaver was amazing. That kid is the basketball version of all gas no brakes. Really lifted the team today.

    Thanks for the summary Bobby. Really good to hear that Savea is making a good impression, as we need to stay strong at DT considering the losses we have had at that position. I am not expecting us to be as strong against the run in 2024 as we were last season, but I really don't want to be exploited vs the run next year. Appreciate these updates

    Agreed! Think about the new challenges they are facing trying to win a conference, when they couldn't overcome the Pac 12 competition. Now they are still hitched with the few great Pac 12 programs, but they have the new Big 10 teams to face. Not to mention the logistics nightmare of actually traveling to play road games.

    Great interview Gerry! Lance seems unselfish, driven, and is outspoken on his love of ATX and our coaches that recruited him. As someone else noted, he mentioned twice on our coached being "real" vs other schools. I love hearing that. Thanks for posting!

    Horns down has never bothered me. I expect every fan base to do it. As a matter of fact, I have never known anyone that actually got offended. Give me a break.

    My Dad played Basketball at UT and was a HS coach for his career. We used to watch games together my entire life. The first player I remember watching consistently was QB Marty Akins running the wishbone. He was my first favorite player. That being said, Earl Campbell is my #1. I believe he was the best RB to ever play. When he was with the Oilers, he got all of those yards even though the defense knew he was getting the ball. Just a great player and an awesome face for the university.
