    My Dad played Basketball at UT and was a HS coach for his career. We used to watch games together my entire life. The first player I remember watching consistently was QB Marty Akins running the wishbone. He was my first favorite player. That being said, Earl Campbell is my #1. I believe he was the best RB to ever play. When he was with the Oilers, he got all of those yards even though the defense knew he was getting the ball. Just a great player and an awesome face for the university.

    I never really had high hopes for Williams and totally understand why he would go with Bama or Auburn. We have some really good young talent and transfers at WR so this doesn't sting as bad. What's great about what I am seeing from our program now is we are becoming a preferred destination for elite recruits rather than the last 10 years of hoping and praying we can get one 5 star. I took recruiting during the Mack years for granted. I won't be doing that anymore. I love this team and the culture Sark is building for his players.
