  1. Meant to also include that pretty sure Lee is LDS
  2. Whittingham is part of LDS and that’s a substantial reason he was so consistently formidable at Utah. As we know, schools in Utah have a solid pipeline of Polynesian descendants so this is really not a huge surprise; honestly one of the best hires in terms of retaining Lee
  3. Tre was at his best when he was dismantling our rivals in Aggies and OU - for that, he will be immortal in Texas football lore and I thank him for that. Best of luck Tre.
  4. Merry Christmas everyone! Let’s go win us a natty!
  5. Tua led the league in passing yards in '23 then signed a $212M extension in '24 - what a fall from grace but a lot of serious blows to the head can lead to that. I knew when he was drafted to the Dolphins that Quinn had the most underrated chance to be a starter at some point this season; now I just have to figure out how to watch this game in the Dallas market without Sunday ticket
  6. Haha and other sites saying Hudson Card would be the starter over Quinn. How can credibility be that resilient??
  7. Their AD reminds me of that scene in fight club where you have to start a fight with someone and it’s surprising how hard it is to get someone to actually fight you. How is this guy not fired yet??
  8. There was a special pizza order at a local Ann Arbor pizza place named after the staffer. Don’t pretend like people close to the program - including Desmond Howard - didn’t have a clue
  9. Ahhh thank you - this post made my day
  10. Despite what I said earlier, apparently AD has not been fired (yet). If they keep him, we can be confident he will continue to do the wrong thing which benefits all non-Michigan fans
  11. Reports that Michigan AD has been fired. What a long time coming. They already have an interim University president so what coach wants to go in there with no permanent AD or president? Raining = pouring
  12. What does the Michigan AD have to do be terminated?? Isn't it obvious that they should stay away from anyone with any ties to Harbaugh, including Minter? How much more does Harbaugh have to tell you he picks scum for his staff. Maybe if he had a murderer play tight end for him it would be so obvious... oh wait, that didn't even come up with Urban Meyer
  13. Who wants to be a "Michigan Man"!?
  14. DeBoer's buyout is only ~$4M
  15. Marcus Freeman to Giants or Michigan (even though he played at OSU); Brian Kelly?? Who is even left
  16. Looking at Harbaugh as a man who can hire those with integrity - he sure knows how to pick them: “Moore is the sixth football staffer hired as under Harbaugh who have had run-ins with police. Former offensive coordinator Matt Weiss was charged with hacking and was accused by federal prosecutors of stealing thousands of private, intimate images of student-athletes. Weiss has pled not guilty to all 24 charges he's facing. Director of football operations Jim Minick and assistant coaches Denard Robinson and Greg Scruggs were arrested for alleged DUI. Michigan's former director of performance science, Fergus Connolly, was also arrested for DUI - but was also charged with multiple felony counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. After being transported to a hospital, Connolly allegedly attempted to bite someone.”
  17. Don’t forget - he also played for OU
  18. Ya the Ohio state boards are depressed, they wanted him to stick around. A testament to his talent, him beating them a couple times aside
  19. Maybe he will a little more subtle next time?
  20. Ya where’s Desmond Howard’s video of him taking out the trash with a strong metaphor pointed at Moore’s conduct = trash?!?
  21. Private equity doesn’t inherently “centralize power”; it injects capital and expertise into sectors that are underfunded, inefficient, or financially stagnant. In many industries - sports included - PE has revitalized struggling organizations, preserved jobs, modernized operations, and expanded consumer options. In sports, PE has grown leagues rather than monopolized them: Formula 1 exploded globally after Liberty Media’s investment UFC became a mainstream powerhouse after PE-backed Endeavor professionalized its operations European soccer clubs stabilized financially when PE firms helped restructure debt and upgrade infrastructure These aren’t examples of “killing small businesses”, they’re examples of taking underperforming assets and improving them. PE is also high-risk capital: firms only succeed if the underlying business succeeds long-term. They don’t win unless fans, athletes, and the product win too. PE isn’t automatically predatory; when done right, it brings capital, innovation, and sustainable growth to systems that need it.
  22. to each their own
