  1. The bad thing about this film it shows hot reads for Arch to hit, he's just not getting it done. Man, Arch is not good. Dang.
  2. And we are in bad shape at the center position (Not news to us). The Film Guy Texas OU
  3. As a coordinator, it's time for him to take a hike. His pride and ego are taking this team down. I don't blame Eston Royal. I wouldn't come here either. Recruits see what's going on.
  4. Same. I'm beginning to wonder, man. I don't feel good about this team with him leading the offense.
  5. @CJ Vogel asked about the defensive pressures and adjustments, hot reads, and whether Sark is seeing enough quicks and hots and adjustments from Arch. He then gives a little word salad, then says he thinks he -(Arch) does what he's asked to do on particular plays, and that the question is vague. No, that was a weak answer to a great question. So now we know he's not seeing the field; neither is he able to audible. Even worse, Sark is NOT getting Arch and the offense out of bad looks. Sark is saying it without saying it, and will die on this hill. I'm convinced that if we do not see changes on Saturday, we are cooked with Sark. I want to see him do well, but he's doubling down and not seeing that we have a major issue here.
  6. You are correct. The athletic director hears them too. Not saying anything happens, but Sark needs some smoke behind this.
  7. @CJ Vogel Your post-game questions are exactly what needed to be asked. Listening to your post-game coverage now... I'm loving what you are saying. You asked Is it the offensive coordinator, or is it the QB? I'll say this... Sark's ego will KILL the potential of this team. It's YEAR 4 with Arch being in the offense, and he can't pick up reads. Change is needed. Two games with multiple three-and-outs in a row... change is needed. Its unfair to ask the o line to block 7-8 blitzers while Arch continues to not adjust the blocking or change the call.... change is needed. Offense has digressed, and defenses know what we are going to do... change is needed. We play much better out of spread concepts, but no.. Sark has to bunch up the look to make things harder on Arch, and the offense... Change is needed. That change begins with Steve Sarkisian humbling himself to either change his scheme, find a quarterback that can run his offense, or, as Ohio St did in 2024, hire an offensive coordinator. If Mack Brown is in Steve's ear, PLEASE, TELL HIM THE TRUTH!!!!
  8. He's not taking any tonight. He's not willing to find an OC... I doubt he makes a QB change... if you call him accountable for talking about it without taking action, be my guest.
  9. True! Absolutely true…. But what gives them a break is they kept them out the end zone other than that. Truth is, the offense doesn’t help until we are down. This is on Sark.
  10. Sark needs to change his offensive philosophy, find an identity or hire a OC. He needs to hear this too. Like clock work, when we get down, the offense finds a way to move the ball with ease. There are moments when Texas just couldn’t move the rock because Sark called to not lose. We had them 17-7. We showed no killed instinct to PUT….THEM…..AWAY. Arch Manning’s inability to read defenses, get us out of bad looks hurt this team. I don’t blame this defense who was on the field the whole game. I wonder is he has the ability to make adjustments. If Sark wants to force his “NFL” style offense, he needs to find a quarterback that can do the easy stuff. To be fair, Arch is probably playing in the wrong offense. It’s not going to happen, but Texas needs an offensive coordinator. Steve Sarkisian needs to give it up. Everything looks so hard, even against UTSA.
  11. Maybe you’re right. Then I hope he’s on his head about this offense. Just sayin’.
  12. Sark seems like a coach without any accountability... How Mack Brown listened to DKR, it seems no one is in his ear, or he refuses to listen. We will not win it all until he pivots.
  13. No. I stand on this in saying we need an offensive coordinator. We see Indiana. They won a Natty last year. They have an offense with an identity. Florida, year one... and an offense with an identity. It's not Arch; it's not our O-line... It's our OC. Time for a change. Sark needs to be pressed on this.
  14. He is seeing the field much better than I thought. Sark put Arch in some terrible spots. The long developing routes were boneheaded on his part. Arch did miss a wide-open slant to Mosely, but other than that, he was muuuuch better than I thought. Sark simply was out-coached.
  15. Does this get it done vs Florida?
  16. Arch doesn’t fit the offense. Sark needs to consider consulting his analyst or getting outside help. Right now, this is losing football.
  17. KJ Lacey seems like a better fit, but man, who wants to start over??? I know Nick Saban would for sure.
  18. Everyone can see it but Sark. The good thing is we have a week off to fix our crap. OU still has a pulse and they play fast on defense
  19. You are somewhat correct here, but what do you do about the scheme not fitting what Arch is able to do? We play well…. When behind. That shows you he has the ability to cut it lose.
  20. For how long though, man? Winning is the goal, yes. But between Arch and Sark, we will lose atleast two games in conference. Offense has no identity. Guess who’s that’s on? Sark. Arch is lost out there. That’s on Sark too.
  21. Brian Robison is cooking right now. He said he believes Arch is handcuffed just how Quinn was. He also is questioning his decision making. Gentleman, it’s time to question the whole operation on the offensive side beginning with Sark going down to Arch.
  22. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure he’s draft able outside of the 6th or 7th round. I see NFL potential, but he loses mentality.
  23. Yeah, man. This is aweful.
