    Adding Jeff sure would be dope! My first sub was to 247 back in the day with Bobby, Gerry, and Jeff. I moved to IT with Bobby and now here to OTF. Would be cool if we got a return of the blitz 👀

    No, the transfer portal is not blown up. Xavier Lucas filed the paper work to enter to portal during the open window. Wisconsin refused to enter his name into the portal. Wisconsin believed that because Xavier signed a 2 year "contract" with the school for revenue sharing, Xavier was contractually obligated to stay at Wisconsin. The NCAA ruled for Xavier. All this ruling does is prevent schools from keeping students at the school even if the student signs a "contract" for multiple years.     Dang, tough choice. Sam was an absolute warrior, but I don't think he can hit all the same throws as Quinn.

    As long as we don't lose Sark to the NFL and Manning to the portal we should be good... 😅

    People want to complain about our schedule, but nobody else in the conference goes 7-1 with our schedule. All the top team in the SEC lost to at least two teams on our schedule. Ten - GA and Arky Bama - Vandy and OU Ole miss - uf and ku Etc.

    This has really been bothering me. The amount of shock jocks who are saying this was "textbook" targeting or who say "if that's not targeting then I don't know what is" is crazy. They are right about one thing, they don't know what targeting is and they have certainly not read the textbook. Please just read the damn rule before giving your hot take.

    Only people who don't read the rules are upset. The targeting rule changed this year to require an "indicator." This gives the officiants some leeway in making targeting calls. Taft did not contact the player with "the crown" of his helmet. And even though there was forcible contact on a defenseless player none of the required indicators were present. See rule below.

    Hey, I would have 0 problems with this. 🤣 I didn't start watching Texas football until 2013. Sark is the best coach in my fandom!

    We had more problems than Mack in those days. His decade of dominance more than makes up for whatever happened when he left. Mack is the second greatest longhorn football coach ever. No reason to stay bitter.
