    We simply don't recruit players who are good enough to beat the top programs. Ohio St wins nearly every H2H recruiting battle against us and it shows on the field. Is what it is. Don't really blame Sark. The plays have been there but the players just can't get it done. We don't recruit and win for the right guys.

    Smelled this OU Mich game a mile away. People were giving OU way too much credit. The offense is still bad and they are starting a OG at LT on top of that.

    OU is starting a guy at LT who is best suited as an OG. That game is going to be a rock fight.

    I didn't say any of that. If you're going to knock off one of the consistently top 2 rosters in CFB and be more than just a CFP participant like Tech or JMU, these margins matter. I don't feel like we did enough to narrow them. Would love to be proven wrong. Maybe I'm right on the above and Arch pulls a superhero game and his legs take over so it doesn't matter and we're in a one score push game. We'll see. No reason to get in a fit over it.

    I like our DL but I'm pretty concerned about LBer and secondary. They didn't do near enough in the portal there is my hunch. I suspect they will get exposed in this game unless our DL just mops the floor of their OL which I'm not expecting. Flip side, not a believer in our OL till I see otherwise. Hard to imagine dropping 30+ unless they really improve.
