  1. Durants one of the best scorers in history. Will be a tremendous fit in Houston imo. His game won't fade due to his length, range and touch.
  2. Bouwmeester played well also. 8 punts for 336 yards including 6 downed within the opponents 20. He has been a field flipper.
  3. One of the best short and intermediate throwers I've ever seen at his age. Will be a very good red zone QB in the pros with his ability to fit the ball in nearly impossible windows.
  4. When he gets his chance he will surprise some folks. Never should have lasted until the 7th round. 🤘
  5. Does anybody have a wedding for me to go to next weekend?
  6. I blame Warby Parker. Arch clearly needs the Rec Specs.
  7. Playoffs? Mora Jr might have ended Bill O'Briens hopes and dreams at BC today.
  8. It's always the line or the lack of run game..when does he say "we need more out of our quarterback"
  9. We'll start a podcast called Numbskull Football 🏈 I'm right there with you
  10. I once hooped with a dude named Lone Li. What made it even more entertaining was he had a twin brother. He couldn't be two Lone Li.
  11. Son of ESPN reporter Chris Mortensen (RIP), Alex Mortensen has his UAB squad (interim Head coach replacing Trent Dilfer) tied with #22 Memphis early.
  12. I know the NFL always speaks about second year regression for QBs although Drake Maye, Caleb Williams and Spencer Rattler look improved so far this year, it's amazing how badly the true second year starters have performed. Sellers has been the biggest disappointment as I thought he could have been a 3 and out player in Heisman consideration with potential to be a top pick. All things considered, Arch is in a great position to establish himself as an all SEC QB despite some early struggles if he can continue to build on the growth we've been seeing each week in SEC play.
  13. Ohio State gets away with a lot too. It's been surprising sometimes with what they've gotten away with against other teams but also against Wingo who needs to go to acting classes with LeBron to learn how to sell fouls.
  14. A big positive sign was Chendall Weaver scoring 22 points. In a more open style game his defense and athleticism should wreak havoc for Coach Miller who has been extremely complimentary towards his game. Reminds me a bit of Tony Allen for Oklahoma State back in the day if he can continue to improve physical strength and maintain aggressiveness offensively.
  15. Sat both big men so lacked defensive rim protection but they will give up more points playing with more pace.
  16. Really? I thought everyone wanted to be this cool. You're probably right that it's a solid commitment but figured I'd ask a guy in the know. If Texas loses Wells, would they potentially take that offer along with Berymons money to go all in for this kid? Still might not be enough to flip but LSU is in an interesting spot even in regard to team building. Could easily see Nussmeiers brother go there and they also have Michael Van Buren. Pro money is the goal, compete in a program with more question marks than answers?
  17. They play with balls, heart and intelligence. One thing that Vanderbilt has going for it big time is that these kids aren't getting paid nearly as much as most of their sec opponents. Every down counts, every play and every week is a job interview. Really respect the gumption of Coach Lea, Pavia and the squad. They will be a tough out for anybody. Well coached, disciplined, have each other's back and play with championship level passion and fight.
  18. @Gerry Hamilton has this ship sailed or would Texas potentially have a shot if Kelly heads back to Assumption University?
  19. Officials throw too many flags on uncatchable balls
  20. Brian Kelly to the principals office, Brian Kelly to the principals office.
  21. It would have gone that route with ohtani if they didn't throw his translator under the bus 😂
  22. Understood but Williams is also in the Fishing hall of fame and missed time to serve in the war so I have to loop him in. Had he not missed his age 24,25 and 26 seasons for service he'd easily have 3,000 hits , 600 homers with his .344 career average. If it was modern day no salary cap he could pull an ohtani and go to the best team on the planet. Williams lost in 7 games in the 1946 world series but only went 5-25 (.200). Playoffs use to solely be the world series back then as the winner of the NL and AL would face off based on winning the regular season..no wild card or chance to get hot for a short stretch and surprise, so Williams only played in one. The Yankees were murderers row. Brown won an NFL championship in 1964.
